Insert one lever between the tire and the rim, and gently pry the tire edge away from the rim. Slide the lever around the rim to loosen the tire completely. 2. Locate the Puncture After removing the tire, inflate the inner tube slightly Submerge the inflated tube in water and carefully inspect it for escaping air bubbles to find the hole. 3. Clean and Prep the Area Once the puncture is found, use the sandpaper or scraper to lightly roughen the area around the hole.
