    So happy they sell a footrest for the trike I bought recently! Easy to install and does the job. Still can’t believe they built a trike without a footrest but I am super happy there’s a fix to that problem.

    So simple to put on after the bike was assembled. My girlfriend recently bought a similar model Radio Flyer trike that did not have this foot rest. We were able to find it on Amazon and when it arrived it was an easy install. Its very sturdy and can be removed just as easily when the time comes. Very happy with this purchase.

    The footrest is great but not really necessary. I love mine but my baby was too short to really rest comfortably. We are short people and she is only one

    Should not have bothered

    I shouldn’t have bothered to buy this. My son just turned a year old and his feet are hitting the pedals as they turn. I bought this thinking it would solve the issue. Unfortunately it attaches so close to the seat that it’s too uncomfortable for him to tuck his feet. He ends up putting his feet above the footrest where the pedals hit his feet anyway.

    Very poorly designed. My niece was only 16 months old when I purchased this footrest for her and she is very very tiny. Still, her legs were pushed up into her chest when she put her feet on the top edge of this footrest and if she put them on the bottom, she was in such an awkward position with her legs behind her, we just took it off. Not worth the money.

    Solution for Short Legs

    I didn’t install it. My grandson is at the in between stage almost too big for the foot rest but too small for the trike pedals.

    Good product, not for tall kids though

    The product is fine, but made for very short legs. My kid is on the tall side and would rather his feet get hit repeatedly by the pedals than put them in the position needed for the guard. The 4 star rating represents that it wasn’t the product per say that didn’t work in this situation. It is what it says it is, but if your kids is tall for their age they might not like it.
