I have a Racktime rack on one of my bikes and a non rack time rack on another. On the bottom of my BASIL bags I have a Racktime adaptor that connects the bag to the Racktime rack. It works very well. When it came to researching a connector that would allow me to use the bags on either bike I ended up at the advert for the adaptor here on Amazon. I ordered two of them, with very high hopes, only to find that the bag adaptor does not fit the adaptor advertised. It seems that Racktime in their wisdom have changed the bag adaptor that goes on the bottom of the bag for a different design. The new design is NOT backward compatible, but in their advertising splurge on the web advert for their product they fail to mention this very crucial fact. As a result, they were sent back wasting everyone’s time and money.Whether the new design of adaptor fits the original Racktime racks is not mentioned either.

Lässt sich sehr flexibel auf vorhandene Gepäckträger montieren.
Das schwierigste ist Adapter und Adapterplatte zu suchen, und zu schauen ob die zusammenpassen. Die Beschreibung “Lenkermontage” obwohl das Teil ja auf einen Gepäckträger kommt ist irreführend. Aber man ist ja flexibel.Habe bestellt und gehofft, dass es passt. Bei mir hat es geklappt. Dieser Adapter wird auf einen vorhanden Gepäckträger geschraubt und der Gepäckträger ist danach kompatibel mit den Racktime/Vaude Snapit 2.0 Taschen oder z.B. diesem Universalträger: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CCDGYMK8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titleAm Gepäckträger muss der Spanner am besten entfernt werden, nach der Installation des Adapters ist er eh nicht mehr nutzbar. Nachteilig ist, dass der Platz zum Einhängen von Seitentaschen recht gering ist und oft nicht mehr funktioniert. Hier ist dann doch ein Systemträger besser. Für die Seitentaschen habe ich mir deshalb eine separate Haltestange an den Gepäckträger montiert.Meine Tasche sitzt nun einwandfrei auf dem Rad und lässt sich schnell abnehmen
