Abra cadabra. Where did my pedal go?
These pedals are heavier than I normally use on my bikes but they have a special trick up its sleeve. (They detach with a simple pull of the base)I fount this very useful since I have multiple bikes and limited space for having them fit into a tight corner of the garage. With this quick pedal removal feature I am able to fit one of bikes that is less used (mountain bikes) close to the wall with relative ease. (Very convenient!)The installation of these pedals are as easy as any other pedal install and they work exceptionally well. (Easy to spin) They are also easy to remove and store as well as mount back on the bike. I can see many specific uses for this pedal and I found one!

These are definitely quick release. The locking tab works great. I bought so I could quickly take the pedals off narrowing the width just enough to squeeze through a too small spaced cement blocks to a rail trail entrance. The quality of the pedal is much better than my original ones.

Very Good Quick-Release Pedals
I bought these quick release pedals for my bike and they work great! The installation was easy and the quick-release mechanism is very convenient when I need to pop the pedals off quickly. The quality feels solid and they are nice and lightweight. It comes with a manual, but it is missing some important information. The kit includes several extra parts—like the small yellow plastic clips and some washers—but the quick start guide doesn’t explain what all of these parts are actually for or how to use them during installation. I had to figure it out on my own.

Sturdy but light
I have some petals on one of the bikes my son uses and I wanted to put these on as an upgrade. He wanted orange petals, but I didn’t realize they were hard plastic. These will replace those nicely. They are durable and still light weight. They fit perfectly and are easy to install if you have the right tools for the job. They are a good petal for a good price.

Smooth bearings and tight tolerances on the quick release mechanism
I got the ZPZEZT brand Quick Release Aluminum Bike Pedals to use on my mountain bike when I’m riding around in regular shoes. I currently have on nylon flat pedals with very aggressive spikes and they are tearing up the souls of my shoes.These pedals are just a little bit smaller than typical mountain bike flat pedals. You can see from the photos how they compare. The product listing does a really good job of showing the pedals dimensions and how the quick release feature works. The anti-slip pins on these pedals are molded into the aluminum and not removable or replaceable like those in most nylon flat panels. They are also not as sharp and aggressive, but they still do a really good job gripping the soft foam or rubber of the average shoe. The 9/16 threads on these pedals fit almost every adult sized bikes and most kid sized bikes with at least 20 inch wheels.I have been using these on my bike for about a month now and I’ve been really impressed with the smoothness of the bearings and the tightness of the quick release feature. I don’t notice any slop or play in the pedals. I did put grease on the shaft so that dirt and water are not able to get into the mechanism. The pedals have a rubber O-ring, which is supposed to prevent dirt industrial getting in there, but better safe than sorry.In order to put the pedals on and take them off, you must squeeze the quick release open manually. While this mechanism looks very similar to the push connect mechanism you’re used to, you still have to manually open the mechanism which is probably a good safety feature now that I think about it. I haven’t had many opportunities to remove these pedals, but the quick release feature has worked as expected every single time. I haven’t used these off road so I haven’t scraped any paint off of them, but I also haven’t noticed any color fading from the sun exposure either.At the time of this review these pedals are ~$31 which is just a little more expensive than aluminum flat pedals that do not have this quick release feature.

Love these pedals
I absolutely love these pedals. Not only are they made of strong steel and aluminum they look nice as well and are not bit and bulky they look and feel like regular quality pedals. But the best part is they have a quick release and I can take them off when I put my bike in the garage or other tight spaces like in the car. They release and come off super easily and smoothly this is one of the products you don’t realize you need until you use it and find how handy it is to be able to pull your pedals off and put them back on quick and easy like. Highly recommended them. Side note: they never once have accidentally come off while pedaling my bike.
