I only took one star off because the seal can come off easily. It beats buying an entire stand at the bike shop for $200+! I needed to fix a flat on my rear tire and of course that involved disconnecting the motor while opening the bike to disable the battery. Let me tell you all, using this stand was the only easy part about fixing my Lectric xp4. Thank you TechTrek.

Great emergency mounts for on the road and traveling !
First off , I have a bike mechanics stand which is a better option and I bought these to be used as an emergency stand when traveling . For that purpose they work well , but I felt they were at least an inch too short in height if you have drop handlebars {the brake hoods) or tall mounted accessories . I wrapped scrap pipe insulation tubes around the bottom of the feet and secured with 8 inch zip ties . By doing this , I am more confident the brake hoods and also my GPS computer will not contact rough pavement .
