Bash Guard for Rugged Trails: plastic shell blocks mud, rocks, and twigs from snagging your chain and crankset during rides, preventing rust and wear from trail debris.
Rust Resistant for Wet Conditions: Non-metal construction won't corrode when splashed through puddles or after muddy rides, keeping the drivetrain area clean and maintenance low.
Fit, No Wrenches: Tool-free clips lock onto standard 4-hole 48/38/28T chain wheels in seconds, so you can install or remove it between trail runs without a shop visit.
Universal for Most Cranks: Designed to fit common mountain bike chain setups, this guard adapts to standard cranksets and chain wheels without drilling or modifications.
Lightweight Trail Protection: Adds minimal weight to your bike while providing a durable barrier against branch strikes and rock impacts, keeping the chain safe on aggressive descents.

Didn’t fit
Looks like a decent product but didn’t fit my 21 speed Raleigh mountain bike. Return was straight forward with no issues.

Sturdy
Built well only issue I had was the attachment hardware was small stainless nuts and bolts. Had to epoxy the nuts in place on the guard for my application

FRUSTRATING PART TO REPLACE……
I have worked on many of my bikes. Replacing parts..stem quill, handlebar, grips, seat, seat post. It’s enjoyable & very simple. Most parts have the size engraved on the part. NOT THE CHAIN GUARD !!! I measured 11cm from hole to hole. Schwinn told me 11cm from hole to hole. But mine is 48T. My measurements fit this 11cm part. But it says for 44T. The 48T guards say it fits 12cm distance between holes. I got this anyway. It must fit if 11cm between holes (as I measured and as what Schwinn says.) I received it. I screwed in one hole (so far so good). I screwed in the opposite side hole (so far so good). Then I looked at the other 2 holes on the the gear and the guard…NOT ALIGNED…..BUMMER. I could send it back, and get the 12cm guard. But whose to say that will work. The measurement doesn’t fit. The guard seemed to be quite stable and attached with 2 screws. I used a zip tie thru one of the other holes. It seems quite secure. It should protect my leg better than before. I’ll see what happens. But this is a very frustrating part to replace.
