Good light for a few years
This light lasted exactly 5 1/2 years before the charging socket snapped off the circuit board inside. Is 5 1/2 years good? I guess… Like I said below, the battery version lasted me way longer. This one still took a charge like new, so it’s a little disappointing that it died because the socket wasn’t really reinforced or attached to anything. That’s cheap construction. I haven’t decided yet if I’ll get another rechargeable or go back to the original Superflash. The battery powered version is $10 cheaper and apparently 3x as durable, but you never know when the AAAs will die in the middle of a ride.***Original review from 2018:Not much to say! Very bright, very reliable, easy to use. Clips into the mounting hardware, or just straight onto a bag or belt loop. I’ve had an older battery-powered version of this for probably 15 years. I don’t know if the rechargeable battery will last that long, but I’ll be happy to buy another one if I need to.

Super flash even brighter
I have had battery-operated superflash taillights for decades. Unfortunately one separated from the “hook” part of the attachment and ended up in the snow somewhere (after a couple decades of good use). I decided to go for the USB version to replace it. I love all the flash patterns and looking in my rear view mirror and seeing bright red light reflect off of snow and stop signs a block or two behind me. The only negative is that the on/off button is hard to press with winter gloves on.

Calidad-precio excelente

Perhaps the best for your money.
Superior to battery version. This super flash is lighter, has one extra mode and, still uses the same excellent mount as the original. It is still 180 degree visible and the mount is compatible with some PDW tail lights. I would buy it again.

Perfect, highly visible, easy to see, durable
Love this light and always use it during day OR night. Helps increase visibility. The strobe varies in both intensity and frequency, so it’s easy to catch motorists’ eyes. Recharging with 2 AA batteries (that typically last me a few weeks riding most days of the week) is easy to do and cuts down on battery waste.

Stands the test of time.
I’ve had the battery version for many years which which still works fine and lives on my wife’s bike. The advantage with that is you don’t have to charge it after a days use like any rechargeable light. Still, I needed to get with the times. This one at least as good as the battery version.I like the variety of static and blinking options. I can be in your face with cars or subtle with other bicyclists. They offer a variety of mounting options. They sell replacement mounts which I find very impressive. The charging port rubber cover is not likely to come off after a few uses, which is a problem with many front and rear bicycle lights on the market.
