Great fenders.
I decided to try these fenders after predictions of rain for the duration of my biking week in VA, OH, and IN. On my Trek FX there was really no trick to getting them on, but I did have to buy a small bolt for the chainstay bridge and two bolts for the second set of rear fender braces. I also used small nylon washers to protect the frame. These fenders are light and effective. On an unpaved rail-trail, they kept damp trail grime out of my running gear, off my frame, off of my shoes, and out of my bags. On the road, I stayed remarkably clean in a steady rain that lasted for 8 miles or so.Although I thought I might remove these fenders when I returned home. I will probably keep them on the bike if only to keep trail grime out of my chain, off my water bottle, and off of my shoes. They really do clean up your ride. The only down side to these fenders is you won’t look like Lance. But if you ride every day and have to face challenging weather, you won’t be disappointed.

Disappointing…
They seem good quality, but they didn’t fit well in my bike. Neither the front fender (the screw was too long) nor the rear fender (the clip wouldn’t stay firm and the other option (screwing) wasn’t doable as the clip wouldn’t let to get there). Plus, I bought them because they were supposed to arrive within 2 days and it took about 2 weeks… I was disappointed…

Best value by far for the $$$.
These yellow Planet Bike fenders normally sell for over $50. I bought them for $40. They are the exact same as the black ones that sell for over $50 only yellow. Do they have an overstock? I dunno. I used to own a bike shop and sell these same fenders…I know they are really all you need and don’t need to spend more on any fancy stuff. These mount as easy as any brand out there. They are durable and they stay in adjustment just fine. I kinda like the yellow because they are brighter than black. They are different because mist people want black. A small percentage of Planet Bikes profits go to helping the environment whatever that means. The stays and hardware are stainless and mount top quality. Full coverage so they protect as well as any other package out there. Yes I’d buy and reccomend again and again.

Yellow was cheaper, so why not roll like a bumblebee
I moved to Seattle for a job and learned that traffic is worse than where I used to live, by a lot. Bicycling is faster than driving or the motorcycle. Fenders are required unless you are clad head-to-toe in goretex. The fenders are a reasonably good plastic with some flex. The front fender was easy to install, but I did have bolts on my bike from a prior fender set years ago. The hardware is adequate, but do not be surprised if you need a trip to the hardware store. The rear fender is a little more tricky. My cyclocross bike had two eyelets for the support rods on each side. The fenders even worked with my old Blackburn rack. The trouble I had was getting the top stabilizer onto the fender. You cannot clip it over and its difficult to slide on from the end. Maybe the plastic was not straight on mine, but it took some effort. The bolts provided assume the top rear mount has a hole through so a traditional long bolt and nut are appropriate. Mine has threaded hole above the brake calipers, similar to a water bottle hole/bolt. However, its a larger size. Not really a problem, just keep in mind you may not get every piece of hardware needed for your application.Look at your frame before buying: is it made to accept bolts for fenders? I have performance bikes that do NOT have the necessary threaded holes.

Review still in progress
Delivered from planet bike with an incomplete parts kit that was clearly reused and taped back together. I have to go to the hardware store to find matching nuts and bolts

Adapted by experienced artist…
The color match and the size I looking for, they are for 700c but I adapt to Mountain Bike 27.5 fits perfectly just a couple ideas and done… ✅

Works on Canyon Grizl7 FlyOn kinda
Ordered 700×45. The product description says 700×45, but it is actually for max tire size 700x35mm.My tire is 45 mm wide. I spent a couple of hours to install it and make it work with the 45mm tire size on my Canyon Grizl:ONfly CF 7.Front fender when installed: The space between the tire and the fender is very small, but will see if that works while riding.Rear fender installation was much easier, surprisingly. The Grizl 7 had just one hole from each side on the rear fork, but luckily the two rear fender rods were attached by one screw. The fenders look nice though.

High quality, adaptable kit
I ordered these fenders because I occasionally ride my bicycle on trails, and occasionally those trails are muddy. I should add that my 700-38 gravel tires are wider than recommended for these fenders, but I was able to adjust them to where they seem to work fine. The fenders are lightweight, but seem sturdy. The yellow piece is plastic, and the black mud flaps are rubber. The rest is metal. I went with the yellow for high visibility. This universal fender kit is very adjustable, and I presented maybe the most odd use case for them, as my bicycle already had a storage rack on the back and a reflector bracket on the front where the fender hardware was meant to mount. The front ended up not being an issue, but on the back I had to replace the M5 0.8 side bolts with longer ones (3/4 instead of 1/2 inch) to accomodate my storage rack. As you can see in the pictures, the tires just barely fit widthwise, but there is no rubbing.I was originally somewhat put off by the price, but once I had my hands on it I realized this kit was a good value. The parts are high quality, and they provide various mounting options and hardware for different applications. What I thought was a splurge was actually just a solid investment.

Good quality fenders, the yellow really stand out.
Nice polycarbonate fenders, the yellow were a bargain and they make my Rans Stratus XP really stand out. My bike has 26” wheels, but I made them work. The hardware is good quality stainless steel.
