    Great tool for rear derailleur alignment

    First-year into hardcore mountain biking with a few crashes along the way. Could get my gears right, then used this tool. Most times the derailleur is slightly off causing the underlying issue. I’d highly recommend this tool for aligning your derailleur before you adjust your gears. I was surprised by how easy this tool was to use and how quickly I’ve been able to resolve my gear issues.

    This is a big improvement over the old Park Tool design. The swiveling arm makes it a lot faster and easier to use. I’m not sure if it’s better than the Abbey Tool HAG but it’s clearly better than the old version and I now have no desire to get the Abbey.

    I’ve bent my hanger 3 times now (I really need to be more careful with my derailleur!), and at $30 a pop to have it fixed at my local shop, this is a good investment. Lots of YouTube videos on how to use it, but honestly super easy and is a great addition to my MTB tool chest. The tool is very well made and this latest iteration of the Park adjuster is the gold standard for this type of tool. Just buy it.

    Amazing tool….

    I paid about $175 the last time I took my bike and I have it adjusted…. So this was a no-brainer! I have never done it before, and don’t have any other tools to compare it to, but when it comes to my bike, I feel this is worth every penny. It was easy to use and easy to learn. I do have a bike stand that made it easier, but I’d assume you can do it without one almost as easily

    Pricy but worth it

    I’ve straightened out 3 hangers so far on different bikes. It’s a great tool to have in the toolbox on a trip in case you ding your derailleur and can’t get to a shop. Plus your friends will appreciate it if you can fix their shifting issues!

    Fits all wheels

    The DAG-3 is light-weight aluminum and is easy to use. It does require a light touch to not disturb the pointer setting when rotating to a different location on the wheel. It’s not a tool to use often yet invaluable on less expensive frames with non-replaceable derailleur hangers. It does not fit in my toolbox like the collapsible tools yet does fit more sizes of wheels. In addition, the M10 thread is replaceable with an appropriately matching set screw. I’m very happy with my purchase.

    Exceptional tool

    Excellent as usual with Parktool tools. Can’t go wrong with this tool. There are many out there that are very good. Its just that this tool looks and feels different and works better than the rest including the older Parktool version.But not very pleased with this seller. Will not buy from this seller anything anymore.

    Not cheap, but totally worth it for me (bike tinkerer, not a bike mechanic)

    I’ve only used this on two bikes, but honestly, it was still worth it for me. It gave new life to two bicycles I would’ve written off, and gave me the encouragement to completely rebuild one of the bikes into a completely different animal. Very easy to use, especially with the latest quality of life enhancements to the product.

    Was able to realign my derailleur myself, gears shift much better, saved a bike repair bill.Device as all Park Tools I have, is well built, will last my lifetime.
