Great Headset, best price
Let me start off by saying this is the cheapest thread less one and one eighth headset you can get, this headset is super light compared to the FSA pig I had.. It spins really smooth and fast, the cups were easy to install and it fits perfect.. I would defiantly recommend this headset if you wan’t a good name brand headset thats cheap..

Good, but not very tough.
It was nice and smooth, but definitely not strong enough to hold up to old school fixed gear freestyle. It was probably my fault, but on a wall-bump fakie I bumped the wall a bit too hard and snapped the cup clean off the ring that presses into the head tube. I know this sounds like I’m just too rough on my bike, but I have plenty of friends who abuse their bikes worse than me and have never had this problem with their Chris Kings or integrated headset.

Bought for a Gravity Bullseye Monster fat bike from Bikes Direct because I purchased an RST Renegade suspension fork and I thought I needed an extended crown race that only works with sealed bearing with 45 degree crown race interface to keep the fork from hitting the down tube when fully turned. This fit the bill at 45×45. After installing on my bike, I realized I didn’t even need the extended crown race. The bottom cup on this is bigger than the stock bottom cup and, in combination with the crown race included in the headset, raised up the head tube sufficiently from the crown that the fork no longer hits the downtube when turned fully. Note that my bike is a 22″ frame, so ymmv, but it works great for me.

Sealed rebuild of an old DK General Lee roller bearing headset. Installed easy with 6 in c clamp and 3/4 inch hardwood buffers. Pressed cups in and away we go! Sealed bearings have such a smooth feel without wear points developing. Excellent quality and the finish is perfection. Going to order an integrated version for mountain bike next.

Very nice at a good price
This a a nice affordable headset upgrade, cleanly machined cups installed easily (I put mine in the freezer for a few hours beforehand, they shrink enough to be able to tap them into the frame very easily with few soft taps from a rubber mallet) smooth sealed bearings. Looks nice and low maintainence. Will buy this one again for future builds

Perfect solution for a threadless conversion
My son’s bike had a 1” threaded fork and the frame measured 34mm. The Origin8 Pro Threadless Headset was the perfect solution to fit a 1 1/8” threadless fork. Every piece of the Origin8 was of high quality and fit perfect. I love that Origin headset included sealed bearings which IMO is a step above the other headsets available. If I need to do another fork conversion this is the headset I will get. Before and After pics attached.
