    Just what I wanted!

    Super happy with the Carbon steer tube plug. Great length, don’t have to be concerned where stem mounts as the 8-9cm length creates a great base for stem interaction.

    Used this compression plug after shortening the steering tube on my road bike. The original Orbea plug was approximately 1.5” in length and this new plug added some needed support for the stem. Finished result came out perfectly. Good product.

    I am using this currently in a Lynskey Carbon gravel fork for a Lynskey Titanium frame. The plug fits and expanded well inside the fork. The long length gives confidence. It tightens to 8Nm inside the fork.

    Extremely important item to have and very safe. I recommend this length for safety. Especially in gravel and MTB bikes.But besides that. Shipping was super slow.

    So far this thing is great. I needed a compression plug for a 1 1/8” carbon steerer that had a smaller than typical inside diameter of 22mm. The Cane Creek one was too big. This origin8 one is light but long fully supporting the carbon steerer tube which is nice. Plus, it was one of the few that actually listed min/max specs for inside diameter. That alone made me appreciate the product. I’ll update the review if something goes wrong once it’s all the together. So far I’ve just done a light test fit but have no reason to believe it won’t work perfectly.
