We’ve enlisted the help of our good friends over at Troy Lee Designs to help put an artistic spin on a quality design. After hundreds of drawings and designs, we’ve developed the most innovative grip yet. Troy’s the kind of guy that will make you throw all of your conventional processes out the window in order to make something for the World’s Fastest Racers. This is not just a slogan to us. Over the past 25 years, we have dedicated ourselves to providing the best there is to offer in our products. This includes our proprietary compounds which have been extensively researched and tested by top athletes around the world to ensure that they provide the highest level of comfort and longevity possible. We are also the innovators of the Lock-On Grip system, which innovated the way in which grips are installed and secured to the handlebars and still remains the worldwide standard for grips. This is also the reason that we have chosen to continue producing our products exclusively in the USA in our own facility. While other manufacturers are scurrying to the lowest possible cost producer overseas, we remain dedicated to maintaining the highest possible product quality facilitated by our long term relationships we have developed with our suppliers.

Excellent!
These replaced the stock grips on my GT Zaskar 9r Sport. So far, they’re working out great. There aren’t any instructions so I fumbled around a bit but it wasn’t that complicated. Tips.. Trying to get the alloy locking rings around ends of the grips is tricky. I put them on partially with my hands then set the grips on a table, locking ring down, and gently used a book as a hammer to hit the top of the grip and pop the ring the rest of the way on. For one rign, I placed the grip on the table, locking ring down, and used a flat head screwdriver to gently pry the ring open and allow it to pop onto the grip. I’m sure there are other, probably better ways. Also, if you care, you have to decide up front whether you want the ring with the “Troy Lee Design” name printed on it to be on the outside of the grip or the inside. I didn’t really pay attention and just ended up with both of the labelled rings on the inside, toward the stem. Works for me. I do not find these to be particularly comfortable or grippy, though they are more comfortable and a little more grippy than my stock grips. But, for me anyway, if I’m not wearing gloves and my hands sweat, I feel certain I’m going to lose hold of the handlebars on my way down rough single tracks. I didn’t expect them to hold like super glue and only mention in given that others have commented on how grippy they are. The small lip on the outside of the grip does instill a little extra confidence even when the grips are slippery. I would buy these again for sure. They look great and having two locking rings per grip means these things aren’t coming off until I want them off.

The best!!
Excellent grips!! Very tacky and they feel great in hand. Not difficult to install in the least. Took 10 minutes including all adjustments. They look killer too!! I think the price is reasonable for the quality of the product.

The Best
I have tried many grips before but the ODI is by far the best. The key is that you do not want your grips slipping. With two lock on grips per grip you will not have any problems. I used the grips on my local black diamond trails and did nor have a problem. Overall great product and a decent price.

Great design and just what I needed
I ordered the black with pewter lock rings, very nice. These are not that difficult to install if you just take a step back and think about the concept of the split locks. Make sure to match the locks for each grip, hex head facing up. Before placing the screws in, take a large and thin flat tip screwdriver, place the lock on the grip, lining up the notches. Slightly twist the flat tip screwdriver in the opening of the lock while pushing down on the lock to the grip’s notches. The locks will snap right on, repeat the process for each. Slide onto the handle bar one at a time, insert screw, insert end cap, tighten slowly, hand tight only, don’t over tighten. That’s it, not really difficult at all. The feel great, they hold great, and the really add a touch to my bike. Definitely recommend.

Classic ODI. Grippy, locking, and looks great!
Grip is 12/10Color is 10/10 (Troy Lee -white with red)Install is 9/10 (give me one of those cheapo Allen keys because I always lose the little ones)White is surprisingly easy to clean up. Looks awesome on the bike.

These look awesome!
I’ve been upgrading my bike, which is white, and saw these. They’re awesome! They install so easily compared to the more traditional kind–no rubbing alcohol needed. They look great. The grips hold up well under sweaty conditions, no slipping at all, lots of control on bumpy trails. I have to agree with some other comments that they get dirty quickly, but they clean up fairly easily. This is my first Troy Lee purchase and I’m already a fan.

Comfy and great!
Great grips but the dirty easily! Kind of hard to clean as the rubber rubs off if you use a rough sponge
