Dura mucho la batería, en rodadas de 30 km solo ae gasta un cuarto de la batería en la potencia 3 ySe mantiene perfecto en su base.La luz trasera tiene un brillo intenso y tmb dura muchísimo la batería. Con este par tienes para rodar unas 5 hrs en la noche sin problema.

Bought my first one ten years ago. Happy to report this company has great customer service and makes good quality products. They redesigned the boot cover on the flasher because it was subject to loosening and getting lost during bumpy rides. Blindingly bright
Wow is this set ever bright! I didn’t think that battery-powered LED units could even get this bright.The set is well made and very substantial. The controls are easy to use. I like the illuminated rubberized buttons on the headlight and its multiple modes, which allow you to trade off between brightness and battery life.To clarify: This is a set with two different units, each with a different name. The “Lumina Pro 1200” is the headlight, whereas the “Vmax+ 150” is the tail light. Both are very bright.They’re also easy to install, with a clamp and a rubber strap, respectively.The seller claims that the headlight can double as a helmet light, but the thing is super dense and heavy, so I disagree with that use-case.At $130, this set is not inexpensive. And I was a little disappointed to see that it arrives simply zip-tied to a cardboard card; I’d expect that something this pricey would include a box since it’s a perfect gift for the cyclist on your list. But it was mostly the price that pulled this one from five stars down to four stars for me.

Good light but not the best runtime vs brightness
NiteRider is one of the top two brands for bike lighting (right next to Outbound). I have had many of their lights and they are all well built, durable, and exceed the claimed battery life and brightness. Setting aside the price for now, the only real question is *which* NiteRider light is right for you, and not really whether the particular NiteRider light is any good.For what it’s worth, my personal benchmarks for lighting are trail: 2,000 lumen on bars; 1,000 lumen on helmet. On street, I only really need like 500 lumen on the bars themselves and nothing on the helmet.This light puts out 1,200 lumens on max mode, which is plenty for on road, and is good as a helmet light on trail. However, the runtime on max is only 55 minutes, which is definitely not sufficient for my typical night rides. Bumping down to high is 800 lumen for 1.5 hours, which still isn’t really long enough to leave a safety buffer. Going down to medium is only 400 lumen and 3 hours, which is a good runtime but not quite as much light as I would prefer. I don’t understand why this bigger light has less output and shorter runtime than their Micro 1150 that can do 1,150 lumens for 2 full hours.The mount on the light is NiteRider’s proprietary sliding locking mechanism (same as on their “Boost” and “Micro” lines) which works well and is usable even with gloves, but you will need to buy additional adapters to get it to work anywhere but your bars. I have adhesive GoPro mounts on my helmets, and bought GoPro-to-NiteRider adapters so now I can swap them out easily, and aim them as needed (it’s super handy to be able to flip it up when stopped so I’m not blinding my ride mates).

Great set, but there are better NiteRider sets
You honestly can’t go wrong with this set, and I feel bad rating it only 3 stars because these are great lights, but I think NiteRider has better options around this price. I believe you are better off spending a little more or spending a little less despite this being an industry benchmark.For starters, the 1200 Pro light is bright! It will light up the trail 100 yards out. I also love the light pattern which is wide enough that you get peripheral lighting to see turns in the trail. However, I don’t like the lighting color. I suspect they repackaged older proven technology here which results in using a less efficient and lower CRI LED as compared to some of their newer lights. I can tell it is definitely a “cooler” white (5500k?) and the greens/browns get whited out and the light is competitively flat; the result is less depth perception. Cimparatuvely, this light is heavier, less battery life, and bigger than some of the newer tech. The light is still awesome, just not as good. I will say that the light mount holds firm on the trail, is ready to install and adjust, and is interchangeable with other lumina mounts (eg the helmet mount). I also REALLY like the battery indicator and up/down buttons for brightness as opposed to a single button to toggle brightness.For the tail light, the VMax+ 150 is SWEET!!! It is painfully bright. In my testing, it is actually brighter than the 180, but that could have been my test setup. I really like the mount and clip which lets me quickly move it from my seat post to clip on my backpack, or tuck in a pocket for safe keeping.Overall, you won’t regret this light set and it will get you out on the trial. But, I would consider some of their other models before pulling the trigger on it.
