Battery levels.
Battery levels are unpredictable and even on the lowest level will only last 3 hours maximum. Not useful in winter temperatures even at 2C battery only lasts 1.2 hours. Not valve for money.

Great usb-c bike light
Great brightness levels and battery life for such a small light. I’ve had zero issues with cars and pedestrians seeing me at night.

Throw Away Light
This worked for about two weeks. Then no matter how much it was charged, it wouldn’t turn on again.

Wide beam not good thrill-hungry mountain bikers
For expert level mountain biking, not as good as my retired Lumina 1200. The beam is wider than the and doesn’t light up ahead on the trail to anticipate the drops, turns, and jumps. I use a smaller Lumina, a 600 I think, on my helmet pointed down so that covers the close up and wide terrain since I can easily turn my head. I need high beams on the bars for the distance visibility. Also, safety risk, if I forget to lock it out, this thing is a fire risk because it’s buttons turn on easier than previous model and the thing is so bright that it can heat up and catch material on fire in my backpack or pocket. For fun, I can’t wait to try it as a fire starter.I do like the battery level indicator and it has decent battery life, and if I wasn’t a fast gnar-seeking mountain biker, this would be a nice wide beam and easy to use light.

Bright & Super Easy To Install
This is the exact same light as a more expensive brand. My assumption is that the light is single sourced out of China and many companies simply rebrand it. Depending on the brand you will probably pay more if you do not buy this version. It’s solidly built. The light quality is very good. The design works on all my e-bike and e-trikes. It was super easy to install. You do need to hold down the power button for 10 seconds to activate it – many people do not read the directions and don’t know to do that. The other thing it took me a minute to figure out is you need to hold the power button down continuously to get it into flashing mode. It’s easy for other riders, pedestrians and drivers to spot – even in the day time. I am not sure about the battery indicator. Could be better and the jury is still out on battery life. But for the money, this is the best of a dozen of these lights I have tested. I recommend it.

Super bright! These lights have come a long ways
I have had a few night riders lights in the past for my bikes. I lost one recently, so I ordered this one, I was surprised at how much the prices come down when I ordered it and even more surprised when I got it how much the quality has actually improved. The light is super bright. The battery life is more than I need for a typical ride in an evening. I just leave it plugged in and charging in the garage when I’m not using it so that it’s ready to go when I need it. Tempted to order a couple more for my kids

I exclusively use NiteRider front lights.
Huge fan of the design and functionality of NiteRider’s front lights, and the Lumina Pro 1200 is no different. Reliable, durable, and easy to install, I’d easily recommend any of NiteRider’s products over basically any other bike light brand.

Bright and versatile bike light!
I’ve been purchasing NiteRider products since I can remember needing a bike light. The build quality of this light is top notch and very durable. Easy to mount on a bike handlebar with the included clamps1200 light is quite bright and more compact comparable to an older light that I have that is rated also at 1200. As for battery life, I’ve been testing this light out for the past 3 weeks and have found that on a 30 min bike ride, it will last and have a bit left for when I walk the dog in the evening.Like with many other NiteRider Luminas, this has a daytime flash function. In fact it has multiple daytime light patterns (I counted 4). So I’ve been using this as my commute light and has worked so well and the visibility actually reaches ahead me quite a bit. Fortunately, it is a focused beam, so blinding my fellow oncoming commuters is done at a minimum. The light charges via USB-C and is easy to mount and take off via the fast release of the handlebar clamp. In addition to being easy to charge, it is lightweight and durable enough that I take this light when I walk the dog in the early evening. I believe one of the lowest setting actually is meant as a walking light. It may be more expensive than the other lights with a similar stated rating but this light with outlast you.and your need for it. Very durable and great quality build for a bike light. Also very easy to use since there is actually a brighten and dim button. Holding down the bottom button will start the daylight strobe function. Great light for both riding and carrying as a mini flashlight!

Bright Beam, Dual Function Top Buttons, Fits Multiple Handlebar Sizes
Having placed this order now everyone in the house has got a light on either a bike or an e-scooter. These are well made products, the exterior is made of frn (fiberglass reinforced nylon), which is very durable. I think 1200 lumens is plenty adequate, whether riding in a bike lane or maybe an unlit trail. The power on/off switch is dual function as you can raise/lower the brightness w/o having to cycle through a bunch of settings. Considering overall build quality and materials used I think Niterider makes a really good product at a competitive value. Lastly, this is rated IP64 water/dust resistant. I’ve used their lights in the rain with no issues. This will make a nice Christmas present for a family member.
