These pedals are pretty good. The quality of materials is better than other petals on the market that are twice the price or more.The paint looks good and I couldn’t find any flaws. The design is stylish as well.I really like the fact they can be installed/removed with an allen wrench. This additional method is super convenient.The biggest problem with them is the cleats are not very sharp nor replaceable, but rather a little rounded and painted over. I wanted these for trail/mountain riding and the grip just isn’t that great even when they’re dry. They may work fine for trolling around town, but bumpy trails make sharp cleats important. Non-replaceable means any damage from a ground strike against a rock is permanent. These would be a decent choice for e-bikes where less aggressive pedaling is required.There are no reflectors on these and California just passed a law that at night cyclists must have a reflector on the pedal, ankle or shoe visible from the front and rear.Overall I think these are less mountain bike performers but better for dry weather on flat ground and the price can’t be beat.

I’ll update the review based on the threads when I install them properly. So far I’ve rode probably 5km on them and I like the feel they are a smaller pedal in width and length which was a bit weird. The studs arent replaceable, the pedal is regreasable, and for a cheap set of pedals on a old mountain bike it’s great.Also fyi if you plan on JB welding a set in cause your cranks are a old proprietary arm that isn’t made anymore, just don’t… Buy a new bottom bracket and crankset. It’ll last about 5km till the pedal falls out again..If you are stuck 5km away from your truck and have JB weld, its a great idea it’ll hold great but you’ll ruin your crankset and pedals for sure lol.

Easy Upgrade That Looks Great
These pedals were an easy upgrade for my roommate’s bike. Installation was straightforward, and they went on without any hassle.The black aluminum design looks much nicer than the basic pedals they replaced and gives the bike a cleaner, more finished look. The wide platform and metal pins provide good grip underfoot, and the pedals feel solid once installed.Durability has been good so far. They don’t feel flimsy or cheaply made, and the aluminum construction should hold up well to regular riding. For the price, the value is excellent. Catchy, Grippy PedalsI picked up these BOWOD flat pedals mostly out of curiosity—they looked solid in the photos, and I needed something to freshen up an older bike. For the price, they’re surprisingly well-executed. The composite platform feels sturdy in hand, and the size is generous enough that I never feel like I’m searching for footing. Once installed, they ride smoother than expected thanks to the sealed bearing/DU bushing combo, with none of the gritty spin you sometimes get at this price point.Out on the road and trail, the grip is strong. The pins bite well into regular sneakers and MTB shoes without being overly aggressive. I’d consider them more of a “light-to-moderate duty” MTB pedal—perfect for commuting, casual trail riding, and cruising around town. Good value-priced aluminum platform pedal
These mountain bike pedals would be an excellent choice for individuals with smaller feet or those specifically seeking a compact pedal. I’ve included an image in this review comparing the pedal size to my Crankbrothers Stamp in size Large, and the difference is quite noticeable. While this isn’t a disadvantage, it’s important to note that these pedals are intentionally designed with a small platform.The pedal itself appears to be of high quality. The bearing movement is smooth and free from excessive friction. Additionally, when the pins are attached, the pedal has a concave shape that provides support for your foot. I installed these pedals on my young son’s bike because the pedal pins are not excessively sharp, ensuring his safety in case he slips his foot off the pedal. The size of the pedals is also suitable for him, considering his smaller foot.Overall, these pedals offer excellent value for the price, and with proper maintenance, they should have a long lifespan.

So far so good, really decent price, quality seems pretty decent
Only had for a few days, but they’re pretty darn good. They rotate without resistance, and the studs aren’t so brutal that they’re going to cut up my legs as my last pair of pedals did, and are neither too big or too small really they’re kind of perfect. Time will tell the quality, my fingers are crossed though. All in all pretty good so far.
