Well…for the price these things are great! If I had paid twice as much, I’d still give it 5 stars. High quality, the bearings seem really good (quiet, free spin well). The finish and construction are high quality, as well as attractive.I used these pedals with flip flops, on my trainer, and it worked out great. I may never put my clipless pedals back on!

Solid pedal with good grip
Bought this pedal for my urban road commute. Wanted a solid pedal that will be more dependable than the typical cheap plastic pedals. This pedal did not disappoint. Very solid steel construction with a smooth bearing. The grip from the platform is very good in dry condition, had not slipped yet in higher pedaling speed. You are paying a premium for a high quality product.

If anyone thinks these are heavy they are off their rocker. Extremely well engineered and finely built. Lightweight yet sturdy and easily rebuildable. Timeless style that looks great on almost any bike.

Upgraded (downgraded) because my track pedals were inappropriate for street riding, just switched over my double gate double strap cages and leather double straps and now my super wide foot is perfect on my fixed gear. And this finish is really nice and unusual. Excellent bearing strength too even on a fixed gear.

ミカシマ一択。
こちらのモデルではない、脱着式のものを雨風のなか15年使いましたが、回らなかったりゴリゴリすることさえなく、大きな劣化(老朽化)を感じませんでした。恐らくそれはベアリング部分の精度で、他にそのようなペダルはないのではないかと驚き、それ以来「フラットペダルは絶対にミカシマ!」とMKSの信者になりました(笑)そして購入したのがこちらのハイグレードモデル。
