    Great pedals for hybrid bikes

    Remplacement de vieilles pédales

    Utilisés dans le cadre d’une modernisation de mon vélo (singlespeed).Il a fallut que je fasse tarauder mon pédalier Shimano DuraAce qui était à l’ancien pas, mais je ne regrette absolument pas.Ces pédales sont de grandes qualités (roulements, finitions), possèdent des passages pour d’éventuels straps et ne sont pas si agressives sur des semelles fines malgré les picots.J’ai pu comparer avec des MKS MT lite et la différence est énorme surtout au niveau des roulements.Les pédales sont assez chers, mais c’est justifié.

    These are good pedals. The pedal axles are solid, one piece axles and can be accessed easily for service or maintenance. The pedal caps are threaded metal caps.MKS has been making pedals in Japan for a long time and everything they make – that I’ve ever bought – is good.

    The best pedal ever made

    As an old school BMXer, I have been using platform pedals since the mid ’80s with Shimano DX pedals. I feel like this pedal is even better. I appreciate its Japanese construction and wide platform. The best thing about this pedal is that it will not take a chunk out of our leg if you just bump into unlike other MTB pedals. Great value and i have them even on my road bike now.

    くるくる回って滑らない。

    パナソニックのゼオルトL3という電チャリに使用しました。●純正ペダルが気に入らなかった。・回転に抵抗あり、また若干滑りやすくモヤモヤしていました。　ネットで探した結果、巷で高評価の本品を購入。◎ベアリングの回転抵抗は極小。グリングリン回ります。・純正とはベアリングの抵抗感が段違いです。くるくる回ります。・回転感が軽すぎるのも人によってはイマイチと感じますよ、　とは自転車屋さん談でしたが、私の場合抵抗が少ないに越したことはなく、　最高です。◎グリップ力抜群・踏面に交換可能なピンが装着されており、　スニーカー、仕事用の靴、どちらで乗ってもがっつりグリップしてくれます。　純正ではたまにすべってたのですが、マジで滑りません。買ってよかった。●交換はペダルレンチ必要。・これは本品だから、というわけではありませんが、　ペダルはかなり強いトルクでねじ止めされているので、短い工具だと回らないです。　自分で交換するにはペダルレンチは必須だと思います。・バイク用の工具で悪戦苦闘しましたが　トルクのかけれる長いレンチは厚みがあるので入らず、　短いものだとトルクが足りず、　最終的に自転車屋さんに交換をお願いしました。・工賃はそれほどでもなかったですが、　自分で交換する方はペダルレンチ購入した方が良いです。

    Very comfortable all purpose platform pedal

    I have started using these on my all-road bike, which sees 80% road riding (Mostly climbing) and 20% gravel use.This pedal excels in all situations and to me is more comfortable than the MKS sylvan, MKS BM-7, and MKS RMX pedals that I own and have tried in the past. My foot discomfort while doing steep climbs in other pedals completely disappeared with this one.It has an asymmetric design so that the platform in front of the axle is larger than the one behind it. The traction pins also help without being too long or sharp to pose an injury risk. The black color also matches my cranks, they are fairy light with super smooth bearings.Only negative is that the pedal finish in some places seems rougher compared to the rmx which is less than half its price. Not sure if that is because of the manufacturing process (casting?) or something else. I would knock off half a star for that mainly because of their high price.
