    Good Quality Sturdy Bike Mirror – Recommended

    I fitted this to my Brompton, for use in the UK (i.e. on the right hand handle bar) – I have Brook’s slim handle bar grips (tapped). The bike folds with the mirror in place – just be slightly careful with the rear peddle position. The mirror is slightly tricky to assemble – ideally do this seated at a table with good light and perhaps on a tray, for those small washers, which are easy to mislay. However, this is a well made product, with real glass and a good rear view image. Much better than some cheaper alternatives – I was previously using a plastic mirror (half the price and came as a pair), but that was fairly useless as the mirror scratched easily and had way too much curvature of its convex surface.

    Best mirror for drop bars

    I bought this for my bike with drop bars. It’s well made, locks up nice and tight, the mirror is a perfect size, and the price is good. Drops make it difficult for any mirror to work, I believe this is the best solution. The stick out arm gets it far enough out to see past my pannier bags. The stick up arm brings it up to a reasonable viewing height. With my hands on the hoods I need to adjust my hand position slightly to see the mirror. To get down to the drops there’s barely enough room to get my hand past the mirror. It’s all not quite perfect but that’s not the fault of this product. I wouldn’t be without it for riding in traffic.

    Great mirror, very clear image being glass. If knocked it folds back to avoid breakage.

    Best in 40 yrs. I honestly think this is the most useful bike mirror I had in last 40 yrs. Size is big enough without being too big. It is very clear. The design is very functional, and works well to provide a good rear coverage. I was going to buy a radar to alert me of traffic behind me but this is better. It is good price, quality material, and functionally stellar. No need to look at others, unless if you are mountain biking. This may not work in tight places between trees that are too close. But for road biking, this is AAA+

    Definitely recommend

    It works very well, and was super easy to install. You can turn it to different angles easily, although it sometimes shifts on it’s own. The mirror is clear, and doesn’t break easily.

    These are the best. Don’t buy anything else. One improvement I could offer would be to make the mirror wide angle. Works well on both conventional bikes and tadpole recumbent bikes. It might look goofy, but I put on two of them for good visual safety.

    Decent mirror, big enough to actually see in it. And it’s much easier to install than other ones.

    Best mounting bicycle mirror to buy

    Don’t bother with the clamp-onto the handlebars mirrors, they will vibrate beyond usefulness. This type that mounts into the end of the handlebar is the only way to go.

    A Bit Clumsy, but Useful

    As an official Old Person, I mostly ride a lot more on bike paths these days. On the bike path, there are often faster riders coming up from behind, so a good mirror is helpful. And this one isn’t bad. On a flat bar bike it’s pretty easy to install and adjust to give a good view of whatever is behind you. It’s easy to fold it out of the way while transporting the bike, which is also handy. It is all plastic, which had concerned me, but seems to be holding up OK. That said, I assume that it would probably break if I were to drop the bike.I deducted a star because it interferes somewhat with the bar end, if you’re using bar ends. I have noticed that some riders choose mount it below the bars, rather than above as pictured, which seems to eliminate the interference problem. I have a different mirror mounted this way on another of my bikes, but haven’t tried it with this particular mirror.
