Won’t work vertically
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This does not auto rotate. This will only record in landscape mode when the camera is horizontal. This means you cannot use this camera vertically as it will not auto rotate the video.

Fantastic little gadget for the price.
Actually adore this little thing. For the price it cannot be beat. The card is built in and vertical filming isn’t supported. The app is “functional”. It doesn’t have a ton of features. But it does what it does and is simple to use after the initial configuration.I wish there were a beep or some kind of haptic vibration to confirm that is recording. As it is, you only have a blinking LED, which means that almost all my videos start with me looking into the camera to confirm it is recorded. A minor inconvenience really. The picture is okay. It is 1080p and for a few bucks more there are 4K cameras out there now. But if this comes up on an Amazon deal and you’re on the fence, I can say that it works for the price. It serves my purposes nicely and I’m a big fan of the little charging case to put the camera in.

Great little camera for the price.
For the price, this camera (from Catchallway) has been outstanding! I was reluctant to purchase it after reading multiple other reviews for generic small body cams – all seem hit or miss. But went ahead and dropped the $50 as a gamble. It paid off. This camera – again, for what you pay for – is outstanding.Pros – great battery life, lasting well more than 2 hours each time i go out – possibly longer. Easy setup of configuration file using the app (very basic configuration capabilities but easy to use), allowing my clips to be 5 mins each. Camera says it records in 1080. Not sure, but it is crisp and clear in playback. Good assortment of attachments. I’ve easily used the neck lanyard (magnet) to hold to shirt, and have gone out on 20+ mile bike rides with it attached to the bike. It also is fairly good in lower light situations. The included base acts as an external battery, extending battery life considerably and working as a recharging station.Cons – no image stabilization (but you should know that before you buy it – so this is not an issue, just a note). sound could be a little better, but it’s not too bad. And again, not a con, just a note – the app is very basic and configuration is limited, but it works nicely.Unknowns – I would not be brave enough to test the IPX7 water resistant claim on this device, so I can’t comment here.General – the output picture/vid is slightly wide angle. I have to do more testing on the vertical flip to ensure an upright vid/pic each time – but not worried as my media player classic can rotate the output vids no problem.As others may have written, this camera is not for quality movie making, but it is very useful for generaly documentation of your walks, bike rides, daily activities. Just understand the limitations, and like me, you may be pleasantly surprised.(I’ll upload some pics of my next ride.)

My Favorite Camera for Discreetly Recording Vlogs
I bought this camera with my social media vlogs in mind, and it ended up being just what I needed. I love it because it’s super light and discreet: I can wear it on my chest and record while walking down the street or entering public places without attracting attention. This makes the shots more natural and spontaneous, and I feel much more comfortable recording my day-to-day life.I use it daily in my routine: I turn it on, set the frame, and that’s it. Since it’s hands-free, I can do other things (buy a coffee, check my phone, open my backpack) while still capturing content. The video comes out stable and in good quality, so I can quickly post to Stories or Reels without having to carry around a large piece of equipment. Nice little camera for the money
I bought this camera to record/critique my IDPA shooting matches. It was the most inexpensive and smallest camera I found on Amazon with a hat clip. I used it on a Tuesday morning match and attempted to start the video each time I shot. That didn’t work. Too much going on to remember to start and stop the video (that’s a “Me” problem not the camera). In subsequent matches I just start the camera and let it go. The matches typically last 2 to 2-1/2 hours and the camera has ample battery life and memory for that. The camera default records 3min videos which can be changed in the App. The video and audio quality is decent. If it broke tomorrow, I’d buy another one.
