Got these for my SUP waist band style PFD. For the repack-able PFDs these are the way to go since they maintain spec for being able to pull the ripcord. You could get dodgy and and hope that repacking without the proper pins the rip-cord doesn’t pull just enough to cause a leak, or worse try to use a cheap alternative and not have the rip-cord work at all when needed. Since it was a 6-pack I decided to test one once they got here and the action worked exactly as stock.

After reading the reviews, I was worried that my pack would come with a few broken, but decided it was worth it anyway. None of mine were broken, but that’s just a piece of anecdotal evidence for better QA. They worked fine for finishing up the recharging process for an inflatable PFD

Second order came 1 out of 6 broke guess thats what I will have to settle with. So these (Safety Pins) are packed in a flimsy plastic sheath, shipped in am Amazon Bag. Upon receiving and inspecting order 4 out of 6 pins where broke from shipping and package damage. For a safety system device being shipped like this is unacceptable, I will be returning and requesting new. If the same issue happens I will do the same again until they get it right. (Might be able to use your own 3D printer)

Works how they’re intended too
I don’t know why people said these were individually packed. Unless they changed things. None of mine came broken although I saw how fragile they are when I accidentally broke one. They do seem expensive but then again hopefully I won’t have to use them that much!

Of the six pins, one was broken. But the supplier replaced it!
I am so happy to receive this package of little green indicator pins to arm my life vest. Sadly, of the six pins in the package, one was broken on receipt. Other than that they fit perfectly. Update…the supplier replaced the pins with a new package. Thank you!

Most came broken
Only 1 of the 6 pins was intact. They were scattered in the container without any extra cushioning to keep them secure. It works out because I truly only needed 1 working pin, but the brand packaging could use some improvement for quality control
