This is a great quality chain wear checker. This is identical to most others, but reasonably priced. The pricing on the more popular brands are moronic, even if you own a bicycle repair shop.

Simple tool well made. My previous chain checker only had 0.5 or 1.0, but 0.75 threshold is recommended for my 11 speed. Good value; why spend more?

MATINA Bike Chain Checker Tool this is a very good tool which is absolutely needed if you own a bike. The MATINA Tool does the job, should prove to be durable and will fit in most tool bags. Not as pretty as PARKS CHAIN CHECKER TOOL, but pretty not required to check chain.Great value for the money and I would buy again.

Every time I get my bike tuned-up, they tell me that I need a new chain. I got this to be certain that they were accurate. It’s very easy to use, and I watched a video on Youtube that confirmed it.

Ok quality
Measured 0.6% and 1.2%. Also confirmed with measurements on an used chain against the Pedro’s checker – Pedro failed it while Matina thought it was still good. It is smooth on one side and rough on the other. I guess if I file it down to make it smoother it might fall within the spec.
