Worth buying
It’s nice, it’s like regular hat type material, not the most sturdy product plastic might’ve been nicer and more weatherproof. Easy to assemble, just velcros on and off, blocks sun like a hat would basically, I kinda like the look of it too. Might be a little expensive for what it is, but it’s nice to have.

Does not work with Ultra Ebike Version.
You cannot use this with the Ultra Ebike version with the face shield. This visor prevents the shield from going up or down and is almost impossible to mount unless you remove the face shield.

FITS DIFFERENT HELMETS & COMES N MORE SIZES ON THE LUMOS SITE!
Works perfectly with my KICKSTARTER LUMOS HELMET! I can’t see if my eyes aren’t protected! This works but the Amazon site sold it as 1 size fits all & thats NOT true! On the Lumos site, they have different sizes whereas Amazon actually sent me a MEDIUM! I need an XL. I wound up keeping it bc Lumos site charges shipping! it still fit my helmet but an XL would’ve covered more!

Lumos makes a great helmet but i was nearly blinded riding in today. I wish this visor worked better or I would have used it.1. It’s a pain to attach. I honesty doubt I have EVER been able to connect it in a way that I tust it to stay for a full ride2. it’s way too short to help. It’s barely going to help deal with morning sun at all. The one time I think I had it on there I couldn’t even see it looking up3. it’s floppy. I would have to tip my head down to block the sun from my eyes… While biking I think that it would just be blown up against my head and do effectively nothing.4. if you have the helmet with the flip down visor…. well it’s not going to work with this thing at all.Lumos has a good helmet with a serious problem. As a person who commutes all year round, there are days in the season where the sun is a dangerous factor and there is no option to avoid it. I really like the built in lights and other features but wow I hate the lack of sun protection

The cloth attachment sections that attach to the velcro fell apart after about six months of usage. It’s a shame because the lumos ultra helmet is excellent but has no sun protection without this overpriced and poorly made accessory.

Buy a bike cap, not this
If you expect a visor like a Giro helmet, this definitely isn’t it. This is a like a short-bill cap, but without the cap. You might be better off with a cap that’s made to go under a bike helmet. This visor attaches in place of the sweat band using tiny Velcro strips. It doesn’t attach well. The only benefit is you get maximum air flow.
