A must if for front wheel e-bike conversion
My hat goes off to this engineering marvel! Very important to install this hardware! Lock washers don’t provide enough safety from bike wheel bolts from getting loose! This will justify the wheel motor torque , and definitely keep the front wheel secure!

I gave 3 stars because they are what they say and look the same but the metal is weak and this will probably only help a low wattage wheel from spinning out if you put both on one wheelShould at least make the arm the same thickness as the 12-14mm connection pieceThis would have been betterCan’t use them after seeing the quality and missed return time so I’m stuck with a box full of little paper weights

I had two of these installed on my mountain bike for a front hub motor ebike conversion. These broke, along with my fork dropouts, within 10 minutes of installing. Get something better than these.

This torque arrester can end a friendship.
Make sure you have room for the parts. Not all situation will allow for it. But I have built 12 of these E bikes kits and I use them if they are front wheel motors especially. If it’s a rear or front 1000 watts or more these are a must. I “HAD” a friend that didn’t like the look of the torque arrester and took it off the bike I sold him, warning him that the wheel had come loose on me when first building it. But he took it off and broke three separate sets of front forks because of it. I told him I was done trying to help him. He obviously knows more me. Doesn’t He.
