Pretty bright light for thinner bike handle bars.
I actually ordered this bike light for my wife’s ebike. I wanted to supplement the light that came with her bike. We do some riding, not a lot, in the dim hours of the day and wanted her to have a bright light. The 2000 lumen rating and the attachment stem is what attracted me to this. Also the price wasn’t outrageous. I tried installing it on her handlebars, but unfortunately her bars were too thick for the attachment bracket to fit. I tried several times at different locations on the bars to no avail. So I swapped out the light on my bike to hers and mounted this on mine. My handle bars are a little thinner, but I still struggled to get a good fit. I did get it mounted where I wanted, but the light bracket doesn’t have a left/right swivel point and it ended up a little cockeyed. I wish the hex bracket bolts had knobs on them as the underside small bolt was little bit of a challenge by myself to install while fighting the handle bar diameter. The light does twist on and off the bracket easily, but it does seem very tight on the bracket. As just mentioned the bracket does adjust, just up and down, but not left or right. The light feels well made and not “plastic-ee”. It is rechargeable with a USB-c connection which means I can charge this right from my ebike battery. I am not sure how they measure lumens, but this bike light is very bright, much brighter than my factory ebike light. With some improvements on the bracket, this would be a fantastic light. If ordering this, please pay attention to the diameter of your handlebars as it will not fit larger diameter bars.

The accessories make it a real value!
I have a Gloworm light that is really bright, but has a large battery that is connected to it with a cable. It’s bright, but cumbersome. I was looking for something that could be attached to a helmet that wasn’t so bulky. This is a great fit!The light itself is decent. It shows a 5000mAh power supply. My feeling it it isn’t 5000, but it’s pretty good. It charges with a USB C cord (USB C to USB A included). The light itself is reasonably compact. The charging port has a rubber flap to keep out dust and weather (IP65).What I really like are the accessories. First of all, there is a handlebar mount that “should” fit a 23.8 mm, 31.8 mm, and 35.4 mm handlebar, although the 35.4 mm might be a tad snug. The design is pretty clever. At the other end, it has a GoPro style adapter that will accommodate a device on the top AND the bottom.There is also a wireless remote control. It will turn the light on and off, and toggle through the different levels of preset brightness, as well as allow you to incrementally increase or decrease the brightness.Running time will obviously depend on the brightness level. I haven’t had a lot of experience with it, but it has lasted as long as I’ve needed it to with its limited use.I bought a separate GoPro helmet mount and mounted the light to it. It’s sturdy and stable enough to not jiggle when riding. It’s a pretty slick setup. With one light on the bar and one light on the helmet, you feel pretty confident on the trail or on the street.So far, I’m liking it. It’s not a top of the line light. But it’s great for why I got it!

Good light but a little gimmicky
I like this light overall and for the price it’s a good deal that’s well worth it. The light output is smooth and not spotty with a good shape for not glaring in people’s eyes. The functions are not easy to remember using just the light but not bad using the remote, that’s my only real problem with this light. I would like the light to have the extra buttons on it as well so it was just as easy to use without the remote. The remote is a nice add but it can’t turn the light on if it’s been off for a while, not a big deal but I’ve tried it a few times after stopping for a sandwich or something and it doesn’t take long before it won’t turn the light on, it does do a good job of making sure you don’t turn it on accidentally so I guess it’s kind of a good thing. The 2nd mode/led is also an odd one but it’s nice to have on a light like this, it fills out the shape of the beam to make it a non-glare-free light illuminating above the eyeliner very well. It’s just a pain to get to without the remote and gets confusing if you don’t want that mode on full bright every time you switch to it.. the UI is really the only problem I have with this, don’t loose the remote! Otherwise it’s a great non glaring light that should last a long time.

Pretty bright
This bike light is pretty bright, especially on the high setting. On low, the battery lasts a good bit and works well for normal riding or when you do not need the full brightness. If you are using it on high the whole time, do not expect it to last as long. It also gets a bit warm on the high setting, but the aluminum body seems to help with heat and it still feels solid.I do like the wireless remote because it makes it easy to switch between high and low without messing with the light while riding. That is nice when there are oncoming people, bikes, or cars and you do not want to blind them. The USB C charging is also convenient, and the mount setup gives you a couple options depending on how you want it on the bike.Overall, I think this is a pretty average priced bike light for how bright it can get. The battery is better on low, high is very bright but drains faster, and the remote is a useful feature.

Very Bright and Sturdy
This bike light is exactly what I needed. Yes my ebike came with a light but its super low powered and barely lights my bike path. Tnia KingKong light is super bright. I love that it comes with a small remote that you can mount anywhere that ia convenenient. The mount for the actual light is convenient and strong, it doesn’t move or shift during bumbier rides. Battery life is good on the light. Only thing I wish is that if the light had a usb output to charge my phone.

Sturdy Build Quality.
We have several bikes with in our family fleet, each with a headlight. Several of them are this brand. While they are not quite as bright as our brightest one (from a different brand), they do have the nicest build quality. It feels really heavy and durable. Being slightly larger than the slim version, this one is still relatively compact. The beam is still bright enough for night riding.So far, the battery life seems good. I don’t have much use for the various flashing settings, but they’re there if you need them. The remote control, once enabled, makes for easy mode switching. If you’re looking for a nice sturdy headlight, give this one a go.

Two very similar versions of Kingkong bike lights are listed on Amazon with model numbers X7PRO and X6PRO. Both have desirable features; here’s a quick rundown:X6PRO:+At 2000 Lumen max is considerably brighter than the X7PRO which is limited to 1500 Lumen max.+Newer model with greater battery capacity.+Includes a “remote” that can be strapped onto the handlebar, within easy reach.+Light brightness can be modulated over a continuous range via the remote.+Power switch is at the back of the unit.X7PRO:+Has more settings, including flash and continuous fade-in-fade-out, as well as 3 levels of brightness.+Power switch is on top of the case making it more accessible (rather than at the back of the unit as on the X6PRO).Both models have orange sidelights mounted near the lens.Both use the same very well designed universal mounting system that can accommodate a second light or GoPro device.My personal pick: the X7PRO because:A. It has two “flash” settings (important for being “seen” while riding during the day – which is often just as important as it is to “see” at night).B. Control switch on top of the case is more accessible.C. It’s, well, $10 cheaper.
