This definitely reduces the struggle of helping to hold your kid’s bike up while they’re still learning how to balance and ride. We were better able to hold the bike steady when our kid climbed on and first started pedaling, which helped make her less scared and more confident. Absolutely worth the purchase.

Did what it was supposed to do, but isn’t sturdy and is a bit shaky. Ultimately, the kid can ride a bike.

It works well but is a little flimsy when attached with training wheels. It gets in the way when getting on and off the bike but was pretty good overall and saved my back from bending over.

I ordered this to help my kids learn to ride a bike without training wheels. When I ordered this I read that it was for children up to the age of 12. I am a little disappointed in how light weight this is. It is not holding up well to my kids who are 5 and 6 and both under 50 pounds. I have this mounted on a 12″ bike. No matter how I tighten this thing up it doesn’t stay tight enough to not move forwards and backwards just due to the flex. The amount of flexibility in the handle leads to it loosening up over time. I have tried adding lock washers and that also did not help. If it didn’t loosen up constantly I would have given it four stars.
