Best alternative to the Ride behind!
I have a two year old and she loves riding bikes. Although she is unable to fully keep up with the family group, I began to search for alternatives to help her still be a part of the rides. Pull behinds have become difficult over the years of having multiple kids and the resistance they create while going through our hilly neighborhood. I looked at the ones that attach to the back of the bike but these can become expensive and my toddler loves to sleep and i wanted her to be present during rides. This find was perfect because it allowed her to balance and pretend she was driving the bike! she is now constantly asking to go for rides. price is right, installation is easy, and no worries of her falling as she sits right in between. only negative I would say is she outgrew it in a season. I wasn’t too upset though because again the price more than made up for that.

Great for mountain bikes!
This was the only type of seat I could put on my mountain bike because of it’s style and small size. The front or back seats either didn’t fit because my bike doesn’t have a bar that fully goes up to my seat or there wasn’t enough space between the seat and handlebars. But this? My husband was able to install it quickly, it was affordable, I’ve received quite a few compliments of it, and my 2 year is comfortable on it and has been wanting to go on frequent rides with me. I love it! I feel like with his own handle bars, he gets the feel of turning the handle bars and moving with the bike. The only thing for me is because I am small and my bike is small, he is already just under my chin so will not get to use it when he grows a few more inches. Hopefully he’ll be starting to ride his own ride by then!

Great fun — but our kid’s foot got sucked into the spokes and we got thrown!
This thing is really fun, sturdy, and of great value. Great for trail biking (not safe enough to be near moving motor-vehicles, obviously).However, there is one serious safety caveat: if your kid accidentally puts their foot in the spokes you will get THROWN. I do not recommend using this unless you have confidence that your child will follow your instructions, or you rig together foot straps/clips for the foot rests.My daugher is 4 and listens so it has been no problem. My 2 y/o son however had his foot sucked in, we came to a sudden stop and both were thrown from the bike. We got lucky in terms of our injuries, it could have been a lot worse, and we were on a trail path thank goodness.4 stars rather than 5 because this design and age recommendation should include foot straps to secure the child’s feet.

Great Investment!
The best purchase for my two year old! My son has his own balance bike but when we go on longer rides he gets tired. I found this seat and now it’s all he wants to ride when we go out on a ride. We get many people stop us each time and ask about the seat because they see him enjoying it so much.

My toddler is excited to ride
Attaching the Auwey bike seat was easy enough that it didn’t take very long. It attached securely without any shifting, if done with the right tools. Seems sturdy.Features I appreciate are the seat is well padded for my toddler and when the seat isn’t in use the foot pegs can be folded up and out of the way.The attaching parts has rubber to not only prevent from scratching the big bicycle but also to help securely grip the bigger bike.Things to consider are: if you have a wiggly toddler for likes to drive then they can teach your handle bars and thus making it harder to steer.Also after attaching this you may not be able to attach a water bottle carrier.This kids bike seat has worked well for my toddler. My toddler is not afraid she will fall off but feels safe and is excited to ride with me.

Great for quick street riding on mountain bikes
I bought this child seat for my 24″ mountain bike to try with my 2 yr old kid, and ended up being awesome. I recommend if child is awake and aware of surroundings. Setup is great for male mountain bike ( when center frame tubing is relatively straight).Pros: great for 2-3 years old, relatively easy to install. Comfortable seat pad.Cons: no safety foot straps. See adjustment is limited. Handlebars tend to slide up and down.

Great value. I was skeptical of the quality considering the price, but it was not bad at all. The handles bar mounts were a little loose, but after wrapping electrical tape around the bars it was fine. My daughter loves it because she’s out in the open.
