This water bottle holder was chosen based on the product images; It appeared to be constructed well, product appearance looked like metal and would securely hold a water bottle. Price was not a factor for this product.Upon receiving this bottle holder I was disappointed to see a low quality constructed bottle holder made entirely of plastic which definitely not the durable metal I had expected. Will this holder work? Yes. Durability is TBD. You need to factor who the intended user will be and what type of water bottle will be used (size and weight). As a commuter rider, this cage would have daily use holding a stainless steel 30oz water bottle. I had serious doubt of this holder, so it was returned. 3 stars to reflect product imagery and plastic construction.

Well made. Seems tough and really able to secure almost any water bottle.However the mounting screws were too short for my electric bike frame’s pre threaded mounting spot.I am still looking for correct replacement screws.
