    Finally, some high quality presta valves.

    I ordered at least 3 different packages of presta valves before finally finding these. All of the others were cheaply made, with protruding moulding seams that prevented them from easily or fully seating in the valve stem. These JACO valve stems are perfectly moulded. They have high quality seals and easily thread into all of my presta valve stems. The included tool and caps are also high quality and function well. I have been very happy with all of my products from JACO. They have great customer service and repair guides/videos for their tools and gauges.

    I am only a casual rider but needed something to carry in a fanny pack. Too many flats lately. These were recommended to me by a cyclist friend of mine and I am not disappointed. The tool is aluminum, well made, and easy to use. Everything is very light and easy to carry in a fanny pack or seat bag. Valves are well made and don’t seem to leak. I would highly recommend this set.

    Quality cores and tool, but caps too short/narrow at top

    Great customer service by Jaco on fixing the issue with the original Amazon order (was missing pieces)!I like this presta core kit, and have a Jaco MBX-60 Presta gauge too, as well as the Elite Digital and EliteProPlus Schrader gauges. So I am familiar with Jaco quality. The valves are also quality, both tightening and sealing well. Much better than what came with the tubeless valves. However, the caps will get just a bit over 1 turn when installed on these cores. The top of the cap is too short and narrow. This stops the cap from getting a better fit. I wouldn’t expect the caps to stay put with much riding.

    Caps dont screw on and valve cores are junk

    Saw this in another review and can confirm that the little black valve stem caps only thread on about 1 turn, they aren’t long enough and interfere with the valve stem itself. after 1 ride they will vibrate off and be gone forever. Also, the valve core rubber seal will not sit right when you tighten the knob. and last but not least, when you unscrew the knob to let air in/out, the little knobs will come completely off and you are SOL. not all valve cores do this, but most did. The only useful tool is the core remover, so at $10, it’s not a deal. I like Jaco, but after a failed presta valve gauge, a lightning quick release that doesnt work properly and now this, i’m no longer buying jaco products.
