Worked perfectly for 26″ 18 gear shift cable
My wife’s 26″ Schwinn bicycle with 18 gear twist shifter needed a new rear derailleur, so I purchased these to replace the cable. This set worked perfectly. Now I have extra cables for future bike repair needs. Had the end caps and rubber stand off pieced included. Happy with this purchase.

I bought these when redoing the whole brake system of my bicycles. Two sets of brake cables and two sets of shifter cables. Didn’t need the shifter cables, but at this price it’s still worth buying the whole set. Both sets of brake cables were identical and great quality. No frays or bends. Brake cables are pear style heads. Would definitely buy again.

Rusting after three months
Ah, this is a nice set: a pair of brake cables, a pair of shifting cables, caps, and silicone donuts. The tinning on the cable ends makes instillation a breeze. Unfortunately, the rear break cable I installed in June shows significant rust in August; two months later. The bike is stored indoors. Bad cable? Dunno. I’ve never seen cables rust this fast. It looks worse than the 12 year old cable I replaced. Sigh. Will replace with a different brand.

La confezione contiene 4 cavi freni dallo spessore di 1,4mm con terminale a “fungo” e 4 cavi cambio dallo spessore di 1mm con terminale a cilindrico.Per ora ho utilizzato solamente un cavo freni per sostituire quello usurato di una vecchia bici di tipo “olanda” con freni a tamburo e la compatibilità è perfetta.I cavi sembrano di buona fattura e buona resistenza. Ricordate solamente di lubrificare il cavo con del grasso e l’interno della guaina con un lubrificante liquido, per garantire un ottimo scorrimento del cavo al suo interno e quindi una maggiore durata nel tempo.
