Fairly wide, essentially frameless and a FAR lower nose bridge than pictured.

Just like another pair from the same brand that I tested earlier this month, the frame on these is very decent. Of course it’s a split frame on this model so each arm is screwed separately into either corner of the lens and the joints are nice and stiff right out of the box. Total arm length is about 125 mm from the joint and they wrap around the head well, with rubberized bottoms on the arms so they hold well against a baseball cap.As for the total width, I measured it at 145 mm so it’s still a bit large and sticks out on either side of my narrow face. But it’s not as bad as some other sunglasses I’ve tested. The biggest problem is with the height – specifically where they terminated the nose bridge. If you look at all the pics, it looks like the top of the nose terminates about 1/3 from the top; but in reality it’s more like half way down. So the amount of lens above the nose is absolutely massive at 27 mm, and extends well above the eyebrows (total height is 59 mm).On the plus side, that optimizes them for looking upwards like for biking, playing baseball, football or volleyball. The visual field is impeccable on the upper half since there’s no frame around the perimeter or divider down the center, just not as great on the lower edge. It also makes them less durable because you’re at the mercy of the lens alone. That obviously decreases the weight, but increases the risk of breakage during a fall.Otherwise, despite the wider fit and the lack of a full frame, they actually look pretty decent. Bit of an intimidating aesthetic with the mirrored lens on the black pair, but I love that you get a fully adjustable nose piece because it’s absolutely necessary on this model. Unfortunately you don’t get a hard case in the set – just a soft pouch and no microfiber towel – so that might’ve been a good addition. But for something like beach volleyball, you’d be hard pressed to find a better pair because of how high the lens extends. You don’t even need to wear a hat. Four stars for the sunglasses and an additional star off for the somewhat misleading images.

    VERY IMPRESSIVE!

Let’s be honest. Most sport sunglasses look very similar, with not much setting them apart in terms of appearance. So the difference between a one star pair and a five star pair has everything to do with detail and quality and these glasses seem to deliver on both. These sun specs are well constructed and durable and look as though they will provide good scratch resistance. I wouldn’t take a knife to them or anything to test that out but with normal usage, they should hold up well. They offer all the UV protection you could possible want and are very stylish–although not uniquely so. But what I really love is that they provide total eye coverage and will likely fit a variety of faces, including mine, which is extra big and wide. I tried them on in the searing desert sunshine to put them through their paces and they passed with flying colors. The clarity of the lenses is fantastic and they do provide adequate anti-glare protection. At $30 bucks, they are three times as much as some sport sunglasses but far less expensive than others. Seems to be right in that sweet spot when it comes to affordability for great quality. I highly recommend this product.

    needs a case

They’re nice glasses, but the ad and the graphics are a little misleading. I was looking for something like this but with more of a protective bottom or side frame. They fit well, the nose bridge is screwed on well and looks like you could service it if needed. Light and well made. I wish they came with a hard case instead of just a pouch.

Pretty good, but wish they had a sweat strap.

I got these for a semi mountain climbing thing that my wife and I were going on. It was at Royal Gorge Park in Colorado, and we’ve been there before and knew that it was really windy. I didn’t want to wear normal sunglasses as I was afraid the dust and dirt would have an easier time of blowing up or downward and into our eyes. So I got these. The good is that they do seem to block out the sun pretty well. They are made of plastic, so they are of medium durability I guess. I’m not too sure about scratch resistance as we didn’t come into that issue yet. But most of times these don’t hold up super well, but what really does? I’ve never had a Pair of sunglasses that’s been good at scratchers resistance. The main and only downside that I had was that sweat on her forehead really came down the top of it while we were climbing, and it kind of hampered our vision some. I’ve noticed that some sunglasses that I’ve had in the past have a little band on the top of the sunglasses to kind of help mitigate that. And these don’t. That would be the only thing that I would recommend. That you either get a pair that has that, or you might have to do some light modification.Anyway, I think they would be good if you’re able to take them off periodically and wipe them. But since our hands weren’t exactly free when we’re climbing the side of a gorge. It was an issue.

    Works great, looks great too.

These looks great! It does a good job making it see while it’s sunny out. It fits my head nicely, not too tight or loose, just plain comfortable. The glasses is also UV400 rated which will help my eyes in the long run. I do wish the frame covered all the lens, not just side and around the middle but it’s still nice and stylish. Overall, can’t complain. It comes included with a bag, cleaning cloth, is light weight, makes it easier to see and protects my eyes, what else is there not to like?! I really like these and I recommend it!

    Decent

These are decent. Kinda dark to look out of but the style is cool and quality is good.

Wraparound Shades Worked for Me Driving and Golfing

These sunglasses have really good polarized lenses. I tested them while driving and golfing, and they did a great job cutting down UV light and glare. The wraparound design is nice, though I personally wish they wrapped just a bit further to fully cover the sides of my eyes.I like the way they look and fit—check out the pictures I attached. The spring-loaded arms hug the sides of my head well, so I don’t think they’re going anywhere during outdoor activities. And they are light weight. One small criticism: the product images online made it look like the sides had angled extensions that fully blocked side light. In reality, they have a smooth arc and sit a little farther from my face than I expected, but hey I also tried these out over my glasses and they worked great. Again, my photos show that more accurately. That said, I still like these a lot. They’re comfortable, effective, and stylish. I’m giving them four out of five stars—just docking one point for the wraparound not being what I expected while shopping online.

    Oakley style glasses

Overall they’re pretty good, great for the price. They are not super dark and are not polarized. I find they fit my face a little weird and seem to ride up a little high. I do not have much of a nose bridge so I have to wear glasses high, will likely work better for others. I still like the look and will continue to use, but probably not for biking due to lack of coverage under my eye. Would use for racquet or ball sports.

Not quite how they look in the ad. Intentional? Still good set of lightweight sunglasses.

When I first saw the ad for these, I thought ‘now that is a cool looking futuristic design’….but as I read a couple of comments, I saw some folks were unhappy with what they received and said the glasses weren’t what they expected.Looking in more detail at the pictures in the listing, you can see that what LOOKS like futuristic angles and bends is actually a reflection of the building in each of most of the pictures. Did they do this on purpose to make the glasses look like something they’re not? I can’t say, but I wanted to check them out and see.So, when I received the glasses, I could see right off..no excessive angles on the lenses…they are a simple sweeping curve across the face. I included a pic showing how they sit on the face and also a little video walkthrough of them. Would that excessive set of angles and facets on sunglasses have been cool? Of course, but you wouldn’t get that for this price :)When I made the video, I didn’t have the UV level protection available. I checked the listing, and it says UV 400. So they ARE UV blocking. I also wanted to see if they had any polarization, but alas, it appears they only block UV, no additional polarization features. The glasses are lightweight so shouldn’t be noticeable after wearing them for a long time, and they flex nicely for different shape/sizes of heads. The included soft case (sleeve) and cleaning cloth are always appreciated.Overall, other than the misleading pictures all over the listing, these are a nice set of UV blocking sunglasses, but that possible mislead in the ad lost them a star.

Nice but only 90% coverage and could be darker

Nice comfy fit for these they have good coverage as well however the bottom edge is not as good of coverage as my usual sunglasses. They also are a shade lighter.. so for those like me that have more light sensitive eyes.so these should be good for the majority of ppl I prefer a darker tint. That said I took off a star for the 2 negatives mostly the coverage that isn’t as full as it could be.Pic created.. notice the darker tint is my “old” glasses.. which are beaten up but are much darker.. and have tighter coverage to reduce ambient light leakage around the edges. They are also qualified for use as safety glasses..I found them as a 2 pack at princess auto in surplus last yr.. so you might find such again but don’t hold your breath lol. That said the glasses from Amzn are good.. though again I’d prefer darker and the closer fit of my old glasses it will depend upon each person’s needs and preferences.I had a friend try both on and my darker set he said were too dark for him for example.. but he never had the same vision as I was lucky to have.
