Good Transport Solution
My bikes fit inside the footwell of my car’s backseat, but I have to remove the pedals. This folding set saves me the hassle, since they improve the clearance by several inches. The spindles are metal, while the platforms are plastic, yet seem thick and durable enough to withstand typical use. Each pedal weighs 5.5 ounces, so 11 ounces for the pair. The folding function requires some effort, which suggests the inner spring mechanism is beefy. Though only time will tell regarding durability, especially with heavy riders who stand and pump aggressively. Note that these don’t offer clipless functionality with shoe cleats, but the raised tread design provides good sole traction even in muddy conditions. The reflectors offer good visibility, and overall, this set seems like a decent value for the price.

No more snagging on everything!
The pedals seem solid and well made and being able to fold them up and out of the way makes it easier to get your bike in and out of closets or vehicles much easier!

Cheap Plastic Pedals That Do Not Inspire Any Confidence
The folding mechanism works and they do fold down cleanly which is the one thing I can say positively about these. But the plastic construction is noticeably cheap and nothing about these pedals feels like they belong on a bike you are actually going to ride with any intention. There is flex in the platform when you put real pressure on them which is not something you want to feel under your foot while riding. For casual very light use on a folding bike that barely gets ridden they might be fine, but for anyone who actually puts miles on their bike these are not a pedal you are going to trust for long. The material quality just is not there.

A great addition to your bike if you haul it often
I replaced the original pedals on my early 1990’s Schwinn Woodland bike with these because I hated having the pedals hang off the side so much when I laid the bike in the bed of my truck. They fit perfectly on there and when folded out, look almost the same as my original pedals. They also seem really well made and like they will hold up to years of use and abuse. I really liked the fact that they were marked left and right so you knew which was which – really handy, especially with the left one being reverse thread. Easily, one of the best upgrades to a bicycle I have ever made. The bike lays down in the bed so much better than it did before. Love it!For the cost, these things are a really good value. I did see other ones like this for cheaper, but they didn’t look as well made as these do, so I believe the cost of these is justified. Great on any bike really, but mountain bikes especially. I really can’t recommend these more – you’ll just have to try them and find out for yourself how good these are! They are awesome!

For child’s bike
These measure only 4 inches from the shoulder on the threaded part to the apex of the curve. This is a little bit smaller than the ones on my child’s bike, and a lot smaller than on my adult bike.Quality-wise, they’ll probably hold up ok for a little kid, but the glossy plastic isn’t something i’d typically associate with durability. Says it’s nylon, maybe it’s fine. And i’m a bit skeptical of the rivets rusting or loosening.Functionality-wise, it takes a bit of pressure to push them in to fold them, so no fear of that happening accidentally. And they simply snap back into place without any pushing or pulling. But by folding them, you’re only saving 1 5/8 inches per side, or about 3 1/4 inches total. Maybe that could be significant on a bike rack, but doesn’t seem that worthwhile to me.

Folding design is genuinely useful on a compact bike
The folding mechanism is the main reason to choose these over ordinary flat pedals. They open and close easily with one hand and noticeably reduce the width of the bike for storage, transport, or squeezing it into a crowded garage. The platforms are wide enough to give good foot support, with raised traction features that provide a secure grip without making the pedals unnecessarily heavy. The built-in reflectors are also a worthwhile addition for visibility when riding after dark. They use the standard 9/16-inch thread found on most adult bicycles, and the sealed bearings turn smoothly while keeping dirt and water away from the bearing surfaces.A practical upgrade for folding bikes, commuters, or any bicycle where reducing the stored width actually matters.

Lightweight and foldable pedals!
These folding bike pedals are a great replacement for most e-bikes. They are easy to install, feel sturdy while riding, and the wide flat design provides decent of room and grip for you feet. I really like that they fold down when needed, which makes the bike easier to store and transport. The nylon construction keeps them lightweight, while the reflective strips are a nice safety feature for riding in lower-light conditions. Overall, they’re well-made, practical, and a great value for the price. Some may not like that they are lightweight but it is something to consider if you are looking for this.

Made our folding bike easier to store
We have a folding e-bike with standard pedals, so we purchased these folding pedals to make the bike more compact when folded. The new pedals feature a nylon-like material on a metal spindle. While they can be a bit tricky to fold, they reduce the bike’s width by approximately 4 inches in the pedal area. I do find the pedals slightly smaller than average, but they fit my wife’s feet just fine. Overall, I would say these pedals are of average quality but offer the convenience of folding. They provide decent value for their intended purpose.
