Pretty solid rock & good holder
This is a bit heavier lock 5-digit combo. Changing from 00000 to a new combination was an easy 30 sec job. I tried to see if picking the lock would be easy. I felt a bit more play when the correct number was placed, but the difference was not that much. So, unless you are a professional thief or have very sensitive fingers, the operation would take at least a few minutes. Note that this type of lock is defeatable. Only solid U type of combination lock is much more difficult. So, good for children or cheap bikes should be secured with this lock.I have not tried the kick or body weight test but given the lock’s built quality I doubt this would work. This won’t hold up to a large bolt cutter. I will try the kick or body weight test later & update.

Waaaaaay to short of cable
Ugh – I got this for my Vespa and the cable is way too short. The cable is wound up very tight and difficult to unwind. Once I finally got it extended I could tell it would not work. The image in the ad shows it going through the wheel of the scooter, but that image must be one for kids. If I tried to use this, it would put too much weird pressure on the frame and wheel because there isn’t enough cable to go through the wheel area and around a pole. For a bike, I think a u-lock is better, but if you like the numbering settings to lock it, then this might be a good option for you.

Great bike protection
When you ride a fair amount, as we do for exercise, sometimes you need to leave your bike someplace it would be safer locked up, and this little lock will help a lot. There’s no point in trying to protect things from professional thieves, but little items like this help people stay honest. We tested it a bit, and it’s easy to reset your combo, the cable is very sturdy, and it’s long enough to do the job without being so big as to be obnoxious. Good value, particularly when comparing it to the cost of a new bike or trike.

The right lock for me.
I moved to a “low-crime” area so my heavy U-lock seemed excessive. This lock is lighter weight and flexible and it’s nice to have a combo-lock to not worry about losing keys — but would be nice if it were a bit longer.I now mostly bike on rail-trails (so nice!) so this lock does the job when I need to make a quick stop to use a restroom or grab a bite to eat. In the past, I had bikes stolen overnight locked in front of my apartment with 2 heavy U-locks, so I know nothing will stop a determined thief in areas where they run rampant.

The actual cable is only about 8mm. Hard to tell as it is coated in a very thick plastic coating, but the overall light weight indicates that is is very thin. This cable could be cut with the smallest of cable or chain cutters. I wouldn’t trust this lock on a bike that has any value.

Hard to unwind
Great simple lock, just short and tightly wrapped, I wouldn’t recommend this for locking up on fence due to folks cut those all the time. I didn’t bother with the mount because I don’t have small bars where I would prefer it to be. Update my bike was stolen someone was able to cut this lock in half, I had it locked up on a pole

A beast of a lock
I wanted a bike lock to secure our 2 e-bikes when we were out on rides. I liked the fact that this was a heavy duty lock and that it had a combination and not a key.The lock has a 5 digit code . The instructions to set the code are very clear and it is easy to set or change the code once the lock is unlocked.This thing is a beast. The wire is probably the thickest I have ever seen on a bike lock. That is good from a security point of view, but it has a down side – the cable’s “memory” tries to keep it coiled tightly and it takes some man-handling to make it go where you want it to.It is long enough to secure two bikes together, or to secure one bike to an adjacent pole. The combination reels are easy to rotate and get to the correct combination. I am no locksmith, so I have no idea how easy it would be to “pick” the combination, but no lock is 100% secure, the fact that this has such a thick cable should scare most would be robbers away.Due to the difficulty I’m using the lock due to the cable memory, I am only giving this 4 stars. It is a good lock, just a little difficult to use because it is so sturdy.

Very solid, great for anti-theft, only wish it was a little longer
I’m impressed with the strength and sturdiness of this 15mm steel bike lock. Until now I’ve been using an old U-Lock, and while that kind of lock is very tough, it’s always in the way and awkward to use. This combination lock is just as great for anti-theft, and it’s not awkward to use at all. It’s easy to set and easy to turn the digits. I couldn’t find a place to permanently mount it on my e-bike, but there’s a few good options for places where I can wrap it around to be out of my way while riding (such as the bar under the seat or several places on the metal rack in the back.) I just wish it was longer so I could lock up my bike without having to put a lot of effort into stretching it to get it to reach farther. If I don’t use my muscles to really pull it, then I need to get my bike right up next to the structure I’m attaching it to. While this lock can fit around two bikes if I put some real effort into stretching it to fit, I can’t get it around three bikes. Still, I’m glad to have a very solid lock that I feel safe locking my e-bike with and that’s easy to use and to store.
