I do not recommend the clip type chain link!
This clip type chain link was not recommended for a 2008 Suzuki Vstrom DL 650 per the manual.I used it, ignoring the manual, and after 17,000 miles, the chain snapped, luckily causing minimal damage. I had to remove my stator cover to get the chain off. This would have been a very expensive repair. It could have broken the engine, leaked oil, and instantly destroyed the motorcycle engine.I recommend using the RK Racing Chain UCT2100 and installing a rivet, which is very easy. You-tube videos show a simple method.The RK manual also recommends not using clip type chain link.Sometimes the easy way out is the most costly!
