Looks and feels good quality, same as a typical aluminum derailleur hanger. I put this on an Access Bynum bicycle from Performance Bicycle. Nowhere could I find a part list saying this bike needs this part, but this item matched the broken one I replaced.

Fits 2012 Salsa Spearfish Perfectly
My son broke his hanger on his Salsa Spearfish. 142 was stamped into the broken hanger. The Salsa website said 257. If you look at a 142 and 257 they are identical. Anyway, it was nice that it comes with two new fasteners as well. This was also the best price with free shipping I could find.I did buy two hoping to never use the spare. But! My son used to only destroy a chain once a year. Now it’s chains and derailleur hangers.

good replacement hanger for my Lynskey, but screws don’t quite match my frame
This hanger fits nicely on my Lynskey Cooper frame, but the flathead screws that came with it are not quite right. The original flathead screws sit flush (or slightly countersunk) to the dropout, which is necessary since the hub lock nut/axle flats fit directly against the dropout surface where the screw heads are located.The screws that came with this hanger are slightly taller and sit slightly proud of the dropout surface and would cause interference with the hub, so I had to reuse the original screws that came with my bike.

Doesn’t fit correctly. It’s thinner than the original, so the screws stick out. It also means that it will break differently than the original.I’m probably going to have to use it since it is the only replacement I’ve found, but I will have to do extra work to install it.

It fit the bike frame, but as I tightened the bolts by hand with a simple hex key the head sheared off.
