Nice bright light!
Bright and powerful, will last around a few hours of full power which is good for me. Only concern is the jiggly silicone mount which can come loose on bumpy rides. Tail light is pretty useless but I have another better one by trek so its a nice addition. Will update later to see how it holds against the Canadian winter.

Excellent Brightness, Reliable Function, and Secure Fit for Night Riding
This DARKBEAM 6000LM Bike Headlight has exceeded expectations in almost every category. The first thing that stood out to me is the fit—the mounting bracket grips the handlebar securely without shifting or loosening, even on rougher terrain. Once it’s in place, the light sits firmly and doesn’t bounce or rattle, which gives a lot of confidence during faster rides or downhill stretches. The mode options are another major highlight. With 12+5 lighting modes, it’s easy to switch between wide beam, focused beam, flashing patterns, and lower-power steady modes depending on where you’re riding. The controls are simple and responsive, so adjusting brightness levels while riding doesn’t feel distracting or unsafe. In terms of functionality, it delivers everything a serious night rider would want—strong illumination, reliable battery life, and a design that feels well thought out. The light level is extremely impressive; the 6000-lumen output creates a clean, powerful beam that spreads wide and far without dark spots. It also helps with visibility to others, which is equally important for nighttime safety. The ease of installation is excellent. The mounting system is straightforward, takes less than a minute to attach, and doesn’t require any tools. Removing the light for charging is just as easy, thanks to the USB-C port, which also speeds up charging times compared to older micro-USB models.Lastly, the durability feels solid. The housing is sturdy, water-resistant, and capable of handling daily use without signs of wear. Even after a few rides in light rain and some unpaved paths, the performance has stayed consistent.Overall, this is a highly functional, durable, and extremely bright bike light set that enhances both safety and riding confidence. Perfect choice for anyone who rides after dark.

very bright headlamp with exceptional battery life. inferior tail lamp by comparison.
If you’re looking for a headlight that is more like a floodlight that projects, look no further. This gem competes with focused automobile headlights. I have two of them mounted on my e-bike, as I feel it’s vital that cars see me on the road. I don’t know if they can see me, but they definitely see this light! It has useful modes like high and lowbeam. Then there’s this “all on” feature you can find by long-press of the single button. This makes it simple and easy to use, and is the full 6000 true lumens of the light. The mounts are a bit on the inferior side, as my lights have fallen off at times. This is due to the mounting slide and locking mechanism being made of inferior plastic, most likely PP. It wears out, especially if you like in a city and remove them after each ride. The light itself is extremely durable, however, and mine didn’t suffer beyond aesthetics for the 40mph fall. This light has a very readable battery indicator which gives precise readings (3 sig figs) as percentage. I didn’t know how useful this was until I had one. I’ll probably not purchase another light without this type of battery level display. Ironically, this light has exceptional battery life. A full charge lasts me about 8-10 hours, so I can go two or three days before I need to plug in.I struggled with the decision to subtract a star for the rear light. I only did so because they sold this as a set, therefore the expectation is that the tail lamp perform as well in its function as the headlamp. It fails. It’s bright enough to be seen but it doesn’t standout. The mount is inferior, causing me to lose it by the sixth week. Prior to the mount failure, mine also suffered from battery life. I could not get more than two or three hours out of it.It’s not obvious to me why there would be such a discrepancy in battery life between this and the headlight. If I didn’t purchase another tail lamp, the short battery life of this one would moot the longevity of the headlights. IMHO most riders would not notice that their tail lamp’s battery was expended, as we might only check it if our headlamp’s battery died. So now the rider is forced to purchase another tail lamp to match the exceptional capacity of the headlamps. The thing is, the headlamp is so good that’s not a dealbreaker!I would not pass up on the value of a headlamp at this price. The quality, durability and overall function of this light is a no brainer at under $20.00. Just know you’ll want to buy a suitable rear lamp if you ride over two to three hours, or have a way to recharge it.

Very bright rechargeable headlight
Very bright. Convenient numeric remaining charge display. Easy to charge. Holds a charge for a long time. I highly recommend this rechargeable bicycle headlight.UPDATE: I’ve now had these bicycle headlight for several months. It has performed very well, holds a charge for a very long time, and is the brightest headlight I’ve owned. Living in a rural community, having a bright headlight is extremely important for avoiding skunks. This headlight illuminates the area quite well and very far out in front of me. The charge indicator is very convenient, too.

Excellent for visibility, durability and convenience
This light is really excellent. Bright with multiple modes, including a very effective flashing mode, stable on its mount but easy to remove and with an excellent battery life. Would buy again.

very bright
I like it and I bought a second one for the other bike. IT is very bright. What I think they could improve is the mounting bracket. It works OK but when going over bumps it moves around and I think that could be improved. I am working on improving it myself with some rubber gaskets.

The perfect headlight for anyone to use!
Awesome headlight! It’s extremely bright and i like that it has two separate beams. It has one that points at the ground in front of you so you can see in front of you and one that points straight ahead so you can see farther away from you! The LED battery percentage screen is a great touch to know when to charge it. The headlight attaches like nothing and you can easily slide it off without taking the mount off the bike. Also the headlight is on a swivel so you can point it in different directions if you need to! Overall a great headlight.

Too heavy, terrible mount
I’m an urban bicycle commuter with a 20-mile RT to work four to six days a week. I liked this light for a long time. I no longer do.The pros are the battery size, battery level display, and brightness. It’s very bright and throws a wide beam. It might be a bit too wide for night riding potentially blinding drivers. However, where I live, I need to be seen and am okay with this. It also lasts quite a long time. I charge it from 30% up to 90% and it will last about a week and a half, or approximately 150 miles. The cons start and nearly end with the weight of it plus the mount. The mount is a silicone strap that wraps around your handlebar and is supposed to support the weight of this thing. There have been times when I forgot the headlight was charging inside and took a quick daytime trip without it. The handlebar was noticeably lighter without it. Really the problem for me is that the channel the headlight slides into and is supposed to lock on is made from plastic. I had the headlight fall off my handlebars hitting potholes, speed humps, and just from bumps in the pavement. It looks as if it has gone through a war. Now I have it zip tied to the mount.Even before all this, the headlight weighs so much, it droops on the handlebar, requiring adjustments throughout my commute. After working my way through crazy traffic, I will sometimes look down and notice the headlight is pointing nearly straight down. What good is that??I was reminded it came with a rear light when I came back here to review it. I gave that to someone else in my family and forgot all about it. I have other ones with six LEDs that work great attached to my helmets.Anyway, even though it’s inexpensive and lasts forever, I would not buy this light again. It’s been more trouble than its worth.
