Way better than RAD…
I used to have the RAD brand and they were terrible. I swore off the bike pulley system entirely for years because of it. Recently saw these and decided to give them a shot and WOW what a difference. Highly recommend. My only criticism would be to make the plastic rope holder longer in length.

Works fine, but maybe not best for me.
Ummm. It works Ok I suppose, but don’t love this solution for getting a bike off my garage floor. First, you have to tie off the rope once you hoist it so mount it close to a wall so you do not clothesline yourself. Second, the mounting of your bike and pulling it up is a bit jerky. It was easy to install, but at the end of the day I think I would just assume have hooks in the ceiling I hang my bike from by the wheels. I guess if I were hanging an E-Bike this would be the thing but otherwise I would probably pass. Simpler to install, at least as easy to hang, no rope tie off and still gets the bike up off the floor. IDK. It works, just some things to think about.

Wouldn’t trust holding up anything with supplied installation method.
Instructions say it supports mounting on a standard stud, but installation uses drywall anchors on either side of the stud. Only install if you can use a solid surface or install additional blocking.

Works as it should
I like how the wheels aren’t plastic, that’s what broke on my last one. The screws are terrible, made the process much longer than necessary because the screws that came with it stripped easily.

Best bike hoist system I have ever used
This bike hoist system is light years better than the cheaper products on the market. Much more solid design, smooth pulleys, better rope. Well worth the few extra bucks.

it works great, I read a lot of reviews of similar products and this one seems to have the others beat.It seams to work well, but you have to guide the bike a little so the pulleys pull evenly.I didn’t use the drywall anchors that came with it, I ran two 1×10 across two trusses and screwed the lift into that and I mounted hoist close to the wall so cleat would be close.For the price, I am pleased!

Hardware is fine, but the rope is garbage
Hardware is fine, but the rope is garbage. I immediately replaced the rope with 3/16″ Dyneema, which might be overkill, but I don’t want to worry about having a bicycle fall on my head.

High quality. Worth paying more. I had a cheap one where the nylon cord jammed. It almost dropped on me or my car.
