It does what it means to do
It raises the caliper to accommodate 20mm more on rotor diameter. In my particular case, clearance was raised from 160mm to 180mm on the front disc. The listing photo has print (20mm and arrow). However, the actual item has none (- 1 star). The listing photo with the print is on only reference of which way is up.

They brackets did work and in a pinch I would use it so I give it 3 stars but the quality of the machining and anodizing on the pair that I purchased was not very good. It lacks the markings indicated in the photos and overall not worth the small savings so I returned them. For less than $1 more I recommend you look at the Zeno ones which I purchased and were a much better product.

Works as expected for 160 mm rear brakes
Mounted brakes for 160 mm diameter rotor on rear wheel to holes on frame, fit perfectly. Frame holes were 51mm spacing, brake holes 74mm spacing.

Appears to be a good quality product at great price.Time will tell about durability, but I have installed several of those and never had a fail.Not much to go wrong, as long as you know the size you need for the respective size of rotors you have, front or rear etc. as the product descriptions appears a little confusing… this particular one (20mm) is for IS (not direct) mount: 180 front rotor, or 160 rear rotor.
