    CatEye rear rack bracket.

This is a perfect item for attaching the CatEye rear LED light. It fit on the reflector bracket of our Schwinn bikes perfectly. I removed the OEM reflector, mounted the bracket to the same place and the LED light attached perfectly. Looks as though the bike came from the manufacturer with the light.

    No problems to fit

I bought this with the view to replacing the standard Brompton light on my Brompton with various models of Cateye rear lights. It was the same standard hole spacing as the Brompton and screwed in no problems. I bought the Cateye TL-LD155 OMNI 5 Bike Led Rear Light Taillight to replace the Brompton standard light. Works a charm and does not affect the folding of the bike or wheeling iy around folded. The advantage of having this bracket is now I can use quite a few of Cateye’s range of rear lights on my Brompton.

    Works Great for Me

I bought this rack bracket to try to end up with an easier way to have a light installed on the back of an Ibera PakRak.The bracket was easy to install, is nice and secure, and holds the CatEye light that I have for the bike perfectly. I don’t have to worry about having it fall off because it’s just kind of oddly clipped or rubber-banded to the rack any more. For only a few bucks, this is a great way to make sure that you’ve got a good solid way to keep your light secured to your rack. I highly recommend it.

Doesn’t fit Blitzu, but with a few modifications, it’s okay.

Plastic this, plastic that, but it’s okay. Not the best, but certainly not the worst. Didn’t fit my rack design so I had to modify it, and the receptacle is a bit too wide for a Blitzu and doesn’t clamp down in the right spot. Still, it works.

Rock solid, nice release, works great.

This is the best $7 you will ever spend on bike stuff. Solid, simple, doesn’t feel or look like a kludge, works great. Have used these with Tubus Fly and Tubus Cargo racks.

    Good quality product

This bracket is very good quality and relatively strong. It fits my rear rack perfectly. I use this for my Cateye light when I’m wearing my waterproof poncho as my seat post light is covered by my poncho. Very good idea Cateye are the only company that have thought of this. I hope Cateye will continue to sell rear lights to fit in this bracket in the future as it’s a great idea.

Great bracket for Cateye light on rear rack

Was a bit dubious when ordering a plastic bracket, wondering if it would break or snap off over time. But I am really impressed, fits to my rear top peak explorer bike rack perfectly and is of good quality. Have had it on for my daily commute over 6 weeks now and still holding on with no signs of cracking.

    Works perfectly

Easy to mount to the rack and light mounts very securely. Perfect on all our bikes

    Works as advertised

This worked just as I hoped with my bike bag bracket. Allows better attachment than to the seat post.

    Works good.

Mounts right up to my bike rack, took off the reflector, and added this, I missed the part where you have to use their lights though. But, it works, what light you use, is up to you.

Does exactly what I wanted it to do: hold my blinkie onto my rack

There seems to be some confusion on the mounting of this little goodie. The key is to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Or look at the attached pictures — both will work. I have an oooooold Topeak rack. I can’t imagine that they have changed much so this should work with similar racks too. The two little tab-like things have different outside diameters to accommodate different-sized mounting holes on the rack to which you mount this. Use the coarse thread screws to mount the bracket to the rack using the two little things you cut off as “nuts”. Make sure you mount it so that the blinkie slides DOWN into the holder (easy to overlook this in all the excitement). Use the added screw to hold the blinkie in place (optional) so it’s harder to steal.By the way, you can slide your rack trunk off of the rack with this bracket installed.Haven’t ridden a Critical Mass or a Century with it yet but I imagine it will last a good long time. And it took me way too long to buy this.4 stars because it did not open a portal into a parallel dimension where the Swedish Bikini Team is staying at my hotel.
