Instructions don’t match item delivered
The instructions are not even maxed the item that was delivered. I had to go back to the Amazon listing to see how to connect the pieces that came in the box. Overall, I don’t think it was safe and strong enough to fit my needs to hold up an XbotGo chameleon.

The clamp holds firmly, if you’re using it outside then I highly recommend some kind of weight on your stand in case the wind blows hard.You can use this as advertised and it’ll work great a – the umbrella keeps Sun and rain off no problem, but it also works with a flash unit to act as an adjustable reflector. This is more how I use it, and it works great for that too.I find it to be a nice size because it’s very portable, and it’s very easy to set up.Overall I recommend it- small enough to fit in a bag and big enough to be effective.

This is really nice for using your camera in direct sunlight. Keep the radiant heat off of the camera in hot climates, maybe a little light shower. it seemed to work fine, but my only complaint about it is the hardware used to clamp the umbrella rod to the ball clamp. One of the screws was manufactured wrong and wouldnt thread into the captive nut on the other side. It wasn’t really a huge deal for me, i cleaned it up with a thread chaser. Others might not have that issue though. Just needs a little more QC on their parts, but otherwise it’s fine. Lightweight too. I also tried using this for a stroller, it’s a nice little sunshade for the little. The inside of the umbrealla is slightly reflective too, so you can actually use it as a portable flash umbrella, although you might create some shadows.

Shade for Your Gear (and Your Sanity)
This little umbrella is a lifesaver on sunny days when cameras start sweating more than I do. Clips on easily, adjusts all around, and gives just enough coverage to keep overheating at bay.Four stars because it’s simple, effective, and lets me keep filming without turning my gear into a portable sauna.

Nice umbrella, just wish it cost less
The instructions that came with the umbrella didn’t quite match, but it wasn’t hard to figure out. There were only a few screws and nuts to put together, and it came with an Allen wrench to help. Once it’s built, it’s easy to adjust. You’ll need to keep the Allen wrench handy if you want to take the umbrella apart for storage or travel. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because it’s a little expensive.

Weak umbrella shaft, otherwise decent product.
Did its job for my AI camera and stand, just weak materials used. I was able to use it for 2 games and unfortunately during the 3rd game some kid ran by and knocked over my tripod. When the tripod fell, the umbrella shaft snapped in half. The umbrella itself was fine but the shaft broke so no longer able to use it.

Works but a little pricey.
This Fotoleey (China) weather guard umbrella kit works as described. It is sold as a kit for the XbotGo tracking cameras but will work on any tripod with any camera that will fit under it. First off the instructions that came with it were completely wrong (for some chest mount) but was not to hard to figure out how to assemble it and you can keep it assembled once done. This could come in handy to keep a camera cooler on hot sunny days or shield water from a lens on a mild rainy day… any wind in the umbrella could make your tripod blow over so make sure to weight your tripod accordingly. I can only give this product a neutral rating.
