Very easy installation; sturdy; comfortable for medium length rides
I bought a used bike and as soon as I saw the horrendous, dirty and worn grips that were on it I knew I needed to get a new pair.Removing the old grips (I had to use a knife to cut them off) was harder than installing these. These grips have hex keys that loosen and tighten, allowing for a good, secure fit on most handlebars. It took me about 30 seconds to install each one.Since installing these, I’ve already put over 100 hard miles (trails) on them. They’ve been tightly gripped and have even smacked against a tree branch a couple times and there’s no wear on the plastic or rubber, which is nice.Overall, they’re fairly comfortable as well. For average rides, whether on the road or trail, they’re comfortable enough to grip the entire time and provide a good grip for more unsteady parts of the trail. The only time I have experienced discomfort using these grips is after 20 miles of a quarter century, where the pads of my hands started to get worn and I ended up with a blister the next day. However, these grips aren’t intended for long rides and touring, so they do exactly what they need to when I need them to.The colors matched the color scheme of my bike very well, they’re comfortable, easy to install and sturdy. I am extremely happy with this pair of grips.

Great grips with superior bar end caps
Clamp on grips are great and let’s be honest, much the same. They are solid on the bars, don’t slide around and have cool aluminum retention rings in a variety of colors. The benefit of these over most is the end caps. With these, the bar end caps slide into the retaining ring and are secured by the tension created when you tighten the screw. Others have concentric rings that pressure fit into the end of the bar often necessitating a rubber mallet and leaving a loose fit. These sit flush on the end of the bar and are quite secure. For low cost locking grips, these are highly recommended.

Needed some grips, bought some bontragers from my LBS because that’s all he had but they were 30$ and I thought “I don’t need grips that bad” so I returned them. Bought these. I’ve been on a few rides with them and they’re fine. Not uncomfortable but I ride with gloves and right now it’s winter so they’re insulated gloves. The reason for the average rating is the install. As I tightened the inner lock on, the rubber of the grip started to separate from the metal of the lock on ring. I pulled it apart thinking something was wrong and lined it all up but the same thing happened. Left it that way and nothing has spun or come loose, it’s just got that gap of 2-3mm (1/8″) and it’s on both sides. I’ll be ordering some RaceFace grips to match my cockpit when Covid lets manufacturing get back on track. For these, I ordered gold and that’s what I got, a $12 version of gold.

Work well on my old XC bike
I got tired of trying to buy a new bike at a reasonable price locally since they are in short supply due to COVID crisis so instead I decided to fix up and upgrade some parts on my 20 years old Canondale F700. I got a new wider XP90 carbon riser handle bars from a big auction site that I’m sure were a knockoff or B stock and these knock off grips to update my cockpit. I found that these grips were difficult to slide onto my bars so I lightly sanded the sharp edge on the carbon bars to round them off to create a bit of a ramp for these grips to get onto the bars but I also had to trip the plastic collar that shims the bars fro the inside of the grips as it appeared there was a bit too much material there to allow the shim to expand over the bars. after that quick modification I got the grips on and they look great. They are comfortable too – medium squishyness – less squish than my old Yeti grips but very sufficient and I’m happy with the result. My only complains was that I did need to mod them a bit to get them on but also the socket that the allen key that locks down these grips onto the bars is milled shallow and I was worried that if I over tightened it that is might break and I’d be concerned if you took these on and off a few times it may fail too so be careful when locking them in place. Anyway I’m happy with the overall result and just needed to add some new knobby tires to update my old bike for this season of riding.

It’s decent, the design is unique to what others are selling on Amazon, I wanted the Mayan style on the grip, no one will see it and know that the pattern is not just the soul less version everyone else has. The blue one was the only one ready to ship to me quickly, the gold and others will not deliver to me as fast. So I settled on the blue, not a bad color, I wanted the other colors, but the timing was not in alignment

Confortable / quality grips
This is the second pair of grips I purchase. The grip is comfortable I would highly recommend these cheap yet quality materials. They are super easy to set up also. The last pair lasted a whole 2 years. I highly recommend this product.

I ordered these to match up with the colors of my bike and because they had good ratings. They installed very easily. They look awesome and feel pretty good with bare hands and great with gloves. They don’t move around, even after hard riding and a couple crashes. I would easily buy these again. They aren’t super soft, but they are comfortable and somewhat soft. The rubber hasn’t torn and the end caps haven’t come out even after crashing, due to the end of the handlebar striking a tree and the then striking the ground. It was a pretty hard hit and other than some scratches on the caps, there is nothing wrong with them. The price for these grips is outstanding and I’d highly recommend them.

Se notan que son de calidad buena , las arandelas azules son de aluminio y se apretan con llave Allen y la goma que tiene es más bien semi blanda y cómoda a la mano de buena calidad al tacto ya que por lo que leí en algunos comentarios decían que era más bien duro al tacto y al menos yo no lo he notado así. Habrá que ver si se desgasta la goma o no cuando lleve un tiempo, aún que mi primera impresión es muy buena.
