    Broken spindle

    In less than 4 months the spindle on the chain side wobbles, this product is not worth it.

    Decent with cheap parts

    I grabbed this to replace/upgrade/modernize an old recumbent I got for my wife. When a company makes a product there’s a couple of ways to navigate the parts. If everything is high quality then its a top shelf product, if its all poorly made then its bottom shelf. I would put this crankset in the middle. The crank arms seem really well made but all of the included chainrings are the cheapest stamped metal ever. That’s fine as I typically replace chain rings anyways. Otherwise it seems like a decent product. I wouldn’t use it on a heavy stressed mountain bike, but I think for an average rider doing average things, this is a decent option for replacement.

    why include a plastic piece in an otherwise all metal part?

    easy to put together and still working fine with one minor exception..ALMOST all parts are made of metal. mostly. just not sure why the cap to seal off the hole of the sprocket is the only plastic piece? It broke off shortly after installation.it would’ve been better having a metal piece, since the rest of the whole sprocket was metal.

    Good value crankset and bottom bracket – a little heavy, but other than that it works great
