Did the job!
I bought an old, abused and neglected MTN bike that I and overhauling, rebuilding and refurbishing. Turning the cranks I could feel that things were gummy inside the bottom bracket, so it was going to need to be addressed. I looked at the Park brand crank puller and added to my cart, but then I found this one, which was cheaper and had good reviews. Since this is such a limited use tool, I figured I would go for the less expensive option and bought this one. It works like a charm! Screwed it in, one wrench to hold, another to turn and the crank popped right off. This tool did its job flawlessly and that’s all one could ask. Mine arrived fairly quickly… just a few days in the mail from Staten Island to NJ. Very pleased with this purchase.

Quality at a fair price
Just recieved this today and put it to work right away. Pulled some really seized cranks off a 25 y/o bike. The threads are well within tolerance unlike most other similar tools in this price range. Like others have stated, you need to remove the black cap off the end to use it for square tapered cranksets.

High quality
Worked great on my square hole Schwinn bike. The tool feels super high quality and threaded in smoothly.

Didn’t work but maybe not it’s fault
I bought this to remove the crank pedal from an old exercise bike. The bike was 25 years old and had been used in an exercise club before I got it. When I screwed the remover into the aluminum threads on the crank when I tightened to pull the pedal loose the crank threads came loose and not the pedal. I don’t think it was anything wrong with the puller unless it’s Threads were not cut correctly. I suspect the dissimilar metals between crank and axle fused over the years since I never was able to get the crank off the bike and fixed the problem using an alternate method

This one worked without stripping out
I had a crank puller included with the crank set I purchased. It was a good thing I purchased this better quality one in advance, the included one stripped trying to remove the crank. Opened the Amazon package, the crank was off in 30 seconds. Spend the extra $2. and get this one, you won’t be sorry. Much better quality.

A well made tool. It works perfectly
Used this to remove the pedal cranks from the wifes new Aventon Level 2. She’s 4’11” and needed shorter crank arms to better fit her to the bike. (PROWHEELS 140mm square taper) First off this is a well made tool! These arms had a square taper design, so remove the tee shaped end from the tool first, put a little lube on the threads back off the puller bolt then thread into the crank arm as far as it will go. Turn the puller bolt slowly and it’s off. Couldn’t be any easier.

Does the job at a great price.
I usually buy Park Tools for my bike tools, but TBH, this does the job perfectly well for a fraction of the price. It’s not like I’m pulling cranks every day so this is perfectly fine and value for money.

High Quality, Low Price
Surprisingly high quality tool considering the price. Have already used on three bikes (six crank arms) with outstanding results. Just remember to put a little grease on the threads before use. Best of all it’s NOT MADE IN CHY-NA. Two thumbs up!

Good product.
Worked how it supposed to. Easy as pie. About a fingers length extended.

Good
Not really impressed with this tool, but it has worked without real issue and I’ve used it several times. The threads seem kind of shallow? I did strip out two cranks with this, but I’m not sure that is the tool’s fault.Make sure you take the tip/adapter off if you’re using it on square cranks.

Good Home Game Option for Vintage Crankset Removal
Works great for the home gamer, removing a crank once in a while. The threads are solid enough for light use, they looked kinda small and the metal seems like it might not last for repeated crank removals like in a shop setting. The flanged adapter for Octalink style cranks is a little fiddly, but fine. Did not try the square taper removal yet, however sure it works fine as well. Good value for what it is.
