Great little kit — strong, reliable, and actually useful
This tire lever set is way better than the cheap plastic ones I’ve used in the past. The composite levers have a solid feel with good grip, and they don’t flex or snap when you’re working a stubborn tire bead. The steel spoons are the real MVPs — sturdy, smooth edges, and perfect for tougher MTB or e‑bike tires without scratching the rim.The small valve tool is a nice bonus, and the whole kit is compact enough to throw in a saddle bag or toolbox. This is a nice little tire changing kit and has pretty much everything I need for changing bike tires. The plastic levers work great for smaller projects like bike tires and help remove the tire without scratching the rims. The steel spoons give you some extra leverage for tighter tires.The textured grips make the tools easy to hold onto and I like that everything comes in a small storage box. The valve wrench is also a nice addition to have included.Overall I’m happy with the kit. It’s compact enough to keep in a bike bag and has been useful for basic tire repairs and maintenance.

Bike tire lever kit
For those of us who regularly battle with getting tires off the rim, this is a nice complete kit. It includes 3 red plastic levers – yes red color is helpful, I have lost black levers in the woods when mountain biking and unsuccessfully searched for a long time.The levers are sturdy and nicely shaped to slide underneath the tire. Being made of plastic will not scratch your rim – nice. They each have a hook you can attach to the spoke, so you can continue the work with the next one – very helpful!The plastic levers are supposed to have a snap-together design, but the knob is too thick to fit into the hole of the other lever. There seems to be a little design flaw. Is it important? Not really. If the levers would be thrown somewhere in a full tool box and separate, it might be annoying, but this kit comes with a handy storage box, so the levers not snapping together is definitely not an issue.Also, if they could be snapped together, their width would be too wide to actually close this storage box. Again, not a biggie, a little design flaw.The kit also includes 2 metal levers, also with a rounded side on one end to pry and a hook on the other side. You actually have a total of 5 levers to work with.Lastly, the kit also includes a valve core removal tool. It might work on Schrader valves, I can’t tell because I don’t have a Schrader valve.It is supposed to work on Presta valves as well, but despite having removed Presta valve cores many times with different tools, I have no idea how this little thing is supposed to work. It might be me or it might be the tool. It doesn’t matter because I didn’t get this kit for the valve removal tool and I guess, you wouldn’t either.

A fair value for this group of levers
We have all had those tires that are manufactured just the slightest bit too small for your rim and it turns into a complete wrestling match to get the thing off. That is the exact situation I got this kit for. This collection is probably a little too big and unwieldy to slip in a jersey pocket or seat bag before going out on a ride, but they are the perfect size for working on tires at home in a shop or garage. These will reside in a toolbox at my shop along with the rest of my bike tools. I like that this set is a combination of composite levers as well as steel levers. I have broken composite levers before trying to get a tight tire off, but using a combination of steel and composite in conjunction will help those tires slide right off. I’m not a big fan of the included valve wrench, it looks poorly made and almost an afterthought. On the other hand, the composite levers are clean, well-made, and nicely finished. The steel levers are strong and about what you would expect in a kit this cheap. Priced around $6.49 at the time of ordering, which seems like a fair value.

Decent Little Tire Levers
These are nice tire levers. They feel fairly sturdy enough to handle removing a stubborn tire without feeling like they’re going to snap.I also like the ergonomic, anti-slip grip, which makes them much easier to hold onto when you’re fighting with a tight tire. The rim-friendly design is a nice bonus, too, since scratching up your wheels is the last thing you want while fixing a flat.Overall, a simple but very useful tool to keep with your bike repair gear. This is an excellent set that is well contained in a transparent plastic case. It’s light enough to keep in a saddlebag without concern about weight or size.The composite levers feel rugged, and the red color makes them easy to spot in the pack.I appreciate inclusion of the well-made valve stem tool – sometimes I need one and not all of my stem caps incorporate a stem core remover.At $7 the price is a bargain. Now it has dropped to only $7.
