Great mirror, problematic pricing.
Four things I love about this mirror:1. The attachment ring is designed to fit different diameter bars without having to use a combination of rubber strips to accommodate the bar. It does have a rubber lining to help with grip even if the roundness doesn’t match exactly, which is what will happen on a smaller bar. That is because the attachment ring is like a clamp that does not change diameter as it adjusts to smaller or larger diameter bars.2. The mirror itself has an adjustable function in the same way car mirrors do–the lens can be moved in any direction in its protective case/housing by pressing lightly on the edge of the lens.3. The 7-and-a-bit inch long arm is very stiff but is flexible and can allow the mirror to be adjusted almost limitlessly (within its obvious length limit) to accommodate the unique requirements of individual handlebar setups. Often a mirror fits perfectly at certain angles, lengths, and location on a bar but not anywhere else. This kit allows for a variety of placements, which can make a real difference if you want to move things around for whatever reason.4. Also the attachment clamp does not require you to remove things from the bar to slide it on. It comes apart into two halves.There is one feature that is missing, which might not matter much due to the flexibility of the arm. Some mirrors allow a 360 degree rotation of the arm on either the attachment ring or at the other end at the base of the mirror. This mirror does not have that, though there is some twist possible in the flexible arm, and there is the adjustable lens. So it may not matter.The main problem I have with this item, which does not detract from its quality or features is the price. If you look around a bit on Amazon, you can find the exact same mirror with a different unpronounceable name for less. You can also find substantially similar ones that have, or don’t, one or more feature that differs from this one. I drop a start to call attention to this, not to suggest this is not a great mirror.

The base will loosen up. The convex takes time. It’s fine for seeing if something is behind you.
