Looks exactly like in the picture. This is the second of these baskets that I’ve purchased. The bikes to which they are attached both have different flat racks on them so I was concerned that the basket may not be able to fit correctly. However, this was not an issue. The holes in the basket and the bars that tie them on with the accompanying bolts were such that it will fit multiple different flat racks. For one bike I put the rack on as shown and the other I turned it 90 degrees. The basket ties down with two bars that sqeezes it tightly against the flat rack so it should work for multiple types of racks.I can’t comment on the cover yet as we haven’t had them out in the rain and generally leave the cover off most days. The elastic mesh cover works well to keep items in, however, it will probably wear down in the intense sunlight. The first one we’ve had for about 5 months and it is just starting to lose a little of its elasticity. I expect it will last perhaps 18 months with daily riding and the bike being parked outside in the sun 8-10 hours a day.One final note, I found that on fat tire bikes or bikes with with larger tires (e.g., 29″ tires) that are not step through styles, you have to swing your leg up higher to get on to the bike with the basket on. So if you are not flexible, then perhaps a pannier is better–although they come with their own issues with heavy things banging against the side of the bike (we are using these baskets and were using panniers to carry chain locks as we are in a high bike theft area, these locks weigh perhaps 10+ pounds or 4.54kg).Overall, I am very happy with these baskets and have bought them twice this year.

rugged but heavy
This review may be premature as I’ve only installed it and loaded the basket up but not a test ride. The rack is very sturdy but heavy, I think the box said it was 7lbs total. I put this on my front rack but only because my bars are very wide otherwise it would nave not fit. I had to try a couple of mounting points but it feels very secure with the included hardware. The included basket and cargo net feel well made as well.I have needed a basket as none of my bags will fit on my front rack. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Hardware is not rustproof, still getting rust from somewhere
This basket is in use in a high salinity island environment. I bought it because it needs to be resistant to rust, but the hardware it shipped with seems to be steel. We used heavy zip ties instead to mount it. However, after about 1 week, I started seeing brown rust powder coming from inside the tubing where the welds are. This is with the cover installed at all times. The welds are also only partially covering the tubes (I’m not a welder but they look incomplete, though maybe this is intentional).

Solid Basket, Well Made!
This is a solid case that is good bag for the buck. It comes with all the hardware and accessories to light in my bike rack. I can fit a fairly large back back and it feels secure and safe. I wish it came with a more solid bottom but I made a better one with a price of plywood cut to size. Very lightweight and good quality.

The bolts are substantial, the two metal mounting straps are thick and sturdy, and once everything is tightened down, the basket feels extremely firm with no movement. The included pouch is also made from thick, good-quality material, and the bungee cords are substantial enough that I don’t expect them to wear out or break after a few weeks of use.One thing I really like is that the basket itself is relatively lightweight while still being very strong and rigid once mounted. It gives me confidence that it can handle regular riding and different types of terrain.For my Rebel 2.0, I chose to mount the basket lengthwise/front-to-back rather than the more common side-to-side orientation. I did this because I wanted to minimize aerodynamic drag while riding. I’m not trying to ride particularly fast, but less drag means less energy being used, which can help with range and battery efficiency and preserve the lifetime of the battery.For installation, I removed the existing wood platform from the rear rack of my Rebel 2.0. I then positioned the basket and used the included metal mounting straps underneath the rack to secure it. I used my own wrench and drill to tighten the hardware firmly and get the level of tightness I wanted for the type of riding and terrain I expect to encounter.I did not end up needing the zip ties. Once properly tightened, the basket was already extremely secure.Overall, I’m giving this basket 5 stars. It fit the REVI Bikes Rebel 2.0 very well, looks great on the bike, and feels substantially more solid than I expected. If you own a Rebel 2.0 and are looking for a sturdy rear basket with quality hardware and mounting straps, I would definitely recommend this one.

I had to do a few modifications to get this to fit the way I wanted it to on this particular bike. But, I would highly recommend this basket, came with a nice liner, bungee cords to hold whatever you’re carrying in the basket, and a cover in case of rain. Good size, not too big not too small.
