Didn’t Last
I ordered these in early August, they didn’t last a month of minimal bike riding. I replaced the bearings in my 90lb daughter’s bike with these. She would ride it a few times a week on the roads. Last weekend the rear wheel locked up and she fell off. I’ve disassembled the wheel and found the bearing retainers completely demolished, yes I did use bike grease as well. The ball bearings themselves seem to be ok. I would not recommend these for a replacement on any bike. Find some that are made of thicker metal.

Good replacement bearings
These wheel bearings worked great in my sons bicycle. I used a caliper to measure the old bearings and ordered these to match. This particular listing says it’s for the rear wheel but they fit the front wheel of my sons mountain bike.

Great quality
First attempt to rebuild a bicycle rear hub. I didn’t use the bearings, I did inspect them! All I measured are within 0.0005 using aStarrett micrometer. The cage was finished nicely with no visible production imperfections. If they were the size I needed therewould be no hesitation using them.

Waste of time, energy and money
Disappointed and frustrated. I installed these bearings and they disintegrated in less then two miles of riding. I installed the second set (i ordered a pack of 4) they also disintegrated in less than 2 miles. Had to walk my bike back home. I ended up cleaning and installing the pitted 37 year old original bearings and the bike performed flawlessly for a 10 mile triathlon course.Don’t buy these bearings.

Basically poor quality Cage.
I purchased and installed 2 of these bearings in my rear wheel last year in August. Just recently, I had severe noise in rear wheel, and removed the wheel and hub, etc. and discovered a Mangled cage on the Hub side only. My bike is 18 years old, with approximately 3,000 miles on it, and the bearings lasted until last year.Now, with only about 300 miles, this bearing Failed ! I’m waiting and hoping the other bearing lasts for a lot longer.
