I needed to install longer brake hoses to accommodate a Jones H bar I installed on my MTB. I ended up wrecking one of the ferrules that came with the longer cable kits and found these on Amazon………Bailed me out of my mistake. Easy replacement.

Fairly simple cut off the old (box cutter for a smooth straight edge) and install the new. Will take a good push to get ferrule seated all the way down to where you just cut. Don’t forget to put the other parts on the line before you seat that ferrule. Stopped my leaks at the calipers front and back. Looking at it versus the original, the design is simpler, and looks to not crush and leak as easily with over tightening.
