Different types of bicycles use different specifications of nuts. For example, the front bridge and rear bridge of the mountain car usually use the M10 nut. Children's bicycles and women's bicycles usually use the M8 nuts on the front bridge, and the M10 nuts are used on the rear axle.

We inherited an old but in good condition bicycle. It was missing one axle retaining nut for some reason. And as it would have it, all my random spare hardware didn’t fit.
