Tip for installation
The grips are fine on our ancient Schwinn stationary bike. Dimensions were accurate and the grips fit perfectly. We tried the recommendation to use soapy water on the handlebars to facilitate installation and it was not successful. What was successful was pouring the soapy water through the tube before attempting installation. They then slipped on without a problem! Very happy with the end result.

totally stopped hand numbness
these are really simple and cheap foam grips – bit they almost totally resolved my hand numbness through lack of blood circulation. Its an issue that plagues me since I ride for around 2-3 hours at a time. Constant pressure on the rubber grips (I used to have) made my hands go numb. I was always looking for ways of getting blood back into flowing in my hands. BUT these foam grips seemed to have cured the problem.NOTE – grips this length are always an SOB to get onto multigrip handle bars. Use glass cleaner as a lubricant to ‘push and pull’ the grips onto your handle bars.

I didn’t use them on my bike. I used them for my Golf cart as the handle material wore out. This was a good alternative, to replacing the golf card.

So Comfortable
Really glad I got these for my bullhorn handle bars.Pros-Really comfortable.-Can somewhat adjust thickness by squeezing more tube onto the handle bars.-Relatively easy to install (a little bit of water inside tubes goes a long way).-Fair price.Cons-Only come in black.-Packaged folded in half which leaves a permanent fold in the texture, even after installation.Overall I am very happy, even riding over rough streets without gloves these are extremely comfortable. Price is right as well. I do really wish they came in other colors.

Too bad about the crease
It’s a good product. I purchased both this and the 20 and 22mm I.D. uxcell offering, and it isn’t apparent from the online specs, but this one is substantially thicker than uxcell’s, and thus provides better padding. It is too bad they don’t take a page from uxcell and spiral-roll the product instead of bending it tightly in half and putting a big fat crease in it, which will weaken the material at that point. Feels great on my butterfly bar; i just hope it lasts without tearing at the crease. Applied with 91% isopropyl to a freshly cleaned bar, allowed to dry for a couple of hours. No cement needed and it seems to grip quite well after the alcohol evaporated. Only place where there is a bit of slip is around the cursèd crease—YMMV along with your bar diameter, of course.

Good product, poor packaging process
Foam is packaged and shipped folded. Middle 1-2 inches are useless as they do not reform after unpacking. They foam feels good and looks like a high quality product but they manufacture/seller should rethink the packaging process.

Get what you pay for.
Smooth grip texture, not open cell like the item description shows.Both grips have a deep and permanent crease from being stored in a plastic pouch.I’ll be trimming that section out.It was would very difficult to install as a single super long grip anyway.The price is right. Im hoping they are durable.
