    My daughter broke her hand brake on her bike. I looked for a replacement and found these. The material is quality but cost effective. Would recommend.

    Lasted 2 weeks

    Both hinge screws fell out while my kid rode around. No problem I thought, I can get another screw at the hardware store. The problem was is there is a spring in each one that left with the screws. You cannot find a replacement spring , it is made specifically for the brake. I tried to do a couple work arounds, but could not rig anything to work for the spring action. Ordered a different brand, hope they do better, these are trash. That screw should never work its way out in normal use. You could probably put a lock nut on the other side instead of the one that is there, for me it is too late now though. I ordered these because the reach was shorter for my childs hand. They did make that better, just wish they wouldn’t have fallen apart.

    These are not metal brake levers. Fair plastic made. Our 11 year old fell off his bike and they broke in pieces. The product is easy to install if you know what your doing.

    If you are looking for a small break handle, these are a good option for the money. My child could t reach the original handle on her bicycle. These work. Just wish the plastic would be sturdier.
